Is it a coincidence...

Nonsense. This is actually the first time my comments were redacted so you are clueless.
More than one of your posts was redacted for political comment on this thread (#12, 17, and 27). Repeatedly means more than once. Beyond that, you reverted to the tired and untrue, in current politics, stance that both sides are doing something. They aren't.

I think you might be incorrectly guessing what side of the spectrum the redacted comments are coming from. Suffice to say they were not right leaning.

It was actually only twice Mr. Lunch Room Hall Monitor. One of the instances you mentioned was a reply where I was quoted with the redaction.
In any event you are free to believe whatever stupid bullshit suits you. BTW shouldn’t your political comments be redacted? Of course they won’t be.

What Keith said was vague, and if you don't know him, you could assume he was coming from either side of the spectrum. There has to be some leeway. Otherwise things that are perfectly legitimate writing topics would be difficult to discuss at all. Yours was a blatant stab at the other side which directly mentioned a politician. That's the full-on hard edge of what's not allowed. Politicians, parties, specific legislation, and the like are where that hard edge is.

You probably weren't around during the Bush/Obama years when this place was a horror show of political sniping. Even a lot of the snipers eventually decided it was poisonous and best shunted off to the political sub-forum, now that we have one.

I've read the discussion board pretty closely for a very long time. I haven't seen an attempt to bring politics to the AH happen here from both sides--just from the one you apparently are being repeatedly redacted to bring here. I don't agree that both sides are doing this. You can just not do it if you want. The Web site gives you a forum where you can do it.

I don't quite agree with that. I didn't see the original version of Escierto's comment that was redacted, so I'm not sure what point of view was being expressed, but I've seen name-calling or its equivalent from both sides. One author in this forum was recently called a "fascist." I personally think that's inappropriate and should not be allowed, any more than the forum should be infected with comments that call others "libtards" or the like. It is possible to criticize the content of another's writing or the views they express here without name-calling, period.

I identify as a liberal and as democratic socialist, but it doesn't have anything to do with my fictional submissions on here. I don't write political stories. I write for fun like the vast majority of us, and most people read literotica stories for fun too. In some circles my label is considered an insult, but it shouldn't be.

Politics isn't a dirty word in and of itself either. Fascist is an adjective in the particular case you referred to, not an insult @SimonDoom . The author in question is proud of it and regularly bangs their drum on the politics forum. She invited everyone on the thread over to the PF to discuss, but no-one did because actually those conversations suck especially on line. They are often draining and pointless, but the word liberal isn't the same word as libtard, is it?

Fact is that after that thread I got zero negative impact story side. Nix. Nada. The people who troll are obvious. They don't have political opinions or backbones either. They are triggered by the DUMBEST things.

I have an issue with someone one bombing my stories for the last few weeks, and I mean BOMBING. Like three big sweeps so far, 40 plus votes swept last time, and I write in low vote categories. Some of my stuff had equal bombs to genuine votes at one point. What triggered it? The bullshit with Tilan/Twatnash 🤣.

I've left voting open on two stories, basically as a virtual thermometer up said trolls arse to see how long they keep this bullshit up. I have other sites I write on that are more engaging, but I'm not going anywhere, because although the arsehole trolls have multiple accounts and time on their hands being the saddos that they are, my genuine supporters outnumber them by orders of magnitude and the scores only carry so much weight in my niche audience. I get most of my readers from tag searches and similar story links, not top lists.

To the OP if you've read this far, don't take it personally. These one bombers are part of the furniture around here. If it bothers you, turn of votes, or you can report your own stories for a sweep every now and then. Don't let it put you off writing and sharing 😉 xxx
