Humans are the Alien Creatures

Gaia was sobbing as her friend licked her face. "Gaia la ost.. no f nine Baloo Izes"

Her head was throbbing with pain as another wave of nausea lifted in her chest. Gaia turned again and heaved

Gaia was very relieved to see Blue Eyes. She put her arms around his neck.

Blue carried Gaia back to their cave and laid her down on their sleeping furs, exhausted. He sat next to her, trying to sooth her with gentle touch. He passed her the water skin, trying to get her to drink some so that her stomach had something to wretch, he knew it was worse for her to dry heave, his other mates had complained of the dry heaving causing them horribly painful stomach cramps.

"It will be okay, it will be okay." He reassured her, rubbing her back as she struggled with the nausea.

Once they subsided, he cradled her head in his lap, smoothing her tangled, sweaty hair away from her face. "Feel better?" He asked, just happy to know she was alive. "Dangerous out there." He stated, his brow knitting with concern for her. "Gaia stay close to home now, where safe?" He asked her.

Gaia drank the water and shook her head trying to escape the cramping knot in her head.

"Ba loo ..wa all hides. Gaia no sees wa all..." Gaia explains and shows the bump under her hair from cracking the invisible wall.

Now she notices her friend. "Ha ow heem finns Ba loo. Izes?"

Again her belly twists and Gaia chokes back the urge to heave. She creeps to a small basket and chews on some dark leaves. The twisting subsides and Gaia is hungry. "Gaia no ated."

"Oh, that must sting, invisible walls?" He asked, scratching his head. What kind of game were the keepers playing now, putting up walls they couldn't even see. Where they trying to kill the two of them? That didn't make sense, they couldn't put on a show for the watchers if they were dead.

"Oh, he found me in the tall grass, I got stuck by a bunch of these." He showed Gaia the quills he'd pulled out of his legs. "They made me go limp for many hours but the yar Jah Ken came and protected me. I think he smelled you on me, he seems to know you Gaia."

Blue noticed Gaia pick only the dark leaves to chew. "You know what they do?" He asked before setting about to skin the pair of rabbits he'd killed just before running off to find her. "Small, but good." He said as he prepared to cook them.

Gaia looked at the quills and got a large leaf to put them in the bread making pan. She added some water, crushed nut oil, and some dried boar meat. Gaia put it on a rock the Yar Jah Ken couldn't reach.

Next she looked at Blue's wounds. Carefully making sure the whole needle was out of each spot. Gaia walked back to her baskets and took a piece of green from one. Gaia squeezed the piece making sap ooze out into her hand. Carefully she rubbed it over each spot and knew it would heal those tiny sores. "Yan yah ba ad..no gud... ma ick .sa ick."

Gaia knew she had to keep those birds away. Eating them was very dangerous. Many in her tribe died from eating the meat . The poison was another part of its defense but prolonged exposure made the victim prey. The birds flock and eat the wounded still alive.. but Gaia knew how to make the egg shell into a powder to numb wounds that were too big and has to be stitched closed. Plus the yolk worked as insect repellent and the pink brine was a good dye to draw body marks or images on hides.

Gaia showed Blue Eyes the dark leaf. It smelled like sweets. In ancient times it was called black root and used for stomach problems as a tea. It was a lesson learned from her great grandfather.

Gaia took one of the rabbits and began to skin it with her stone. Gaia carefully removes the fur and puts the fur in one of her larger baskets. In time she will treat them to turn white and make her small ones clothing. "Wat yaoo nam dis?"

Gaia wondered what Blue Eyes called those fur hoppers. It was her way to learn more about his tribe and become accepted by his people. Gaia didn't understand their captivity prevented her from seeing his tribe.

Blue Eyes watched Gaia work with curiosity, he had no idea what she would do with the quills being soaked in water, nut oil and boar meat, but he suspected that it would be something clever, that his tribe had never thought of.

He felt a deep swell of love for her as she took care of his wounds without a word, only naming them after she had soothed the pain in his legs. "Yan yah bad, Blue learned the hard way." He agreed, nodding, he hoped never to experience a waking death like that again. "Meat no good?" He asked, making sure he understood. Well there went that idea. Maybe their quills could still be used as paralytic darts, he there was some safe way to trap and strip them of their quills.

Then Gaia showed him the dark leaves. She intimated that it had some sort of medicinal property. And again blue was impressed, Gaia had stores of knowledge that could make their lives better. If he had known he could give his previous mates some black leaves to sooth their sickness, he would have.

And again, Gaia came to his aid, skinning the other rabbit for him. She took care to save the pelt, as did he. "Rabbit." He said, simply, happy to have her asking. In time, he dreamed that they would build their own tribe, a perfect blend of the one's they were forced to leave behind and perhaps, some day, one of their children or great grand children would find a way to freedom, and could be accepted into either of the tribes.

Gaia tried to explain further about the birds. " dem tha orn .. yan yah ated Baloo f no lee va."

"No ated... no kil led Baloo Izes." Gaia said sternly. "Baloo Izes no hant yan yah. Ahver"

Gaia repeats his word. "Rah butt."

Gaia puts the second fur away and gets two clean sticks. They were the same ones she brought to make arrows with. It took time to stab the meat clear through but it made cooking them easier. Gaia placed one if her broken baskets in the fire to stoke it in order to cook.

"No hunt Yan yah." Blue agreed because of Gaia's stern tone. She was right of course, if he tried and got stuck again, he had no doubt he'd be eaten, if not by the birds, then some other predator. He knew he'd been lucky today.

He watched her sacrifice her broken basket to the flames and knew he would have to gather some other fuel for the fire in the nights to come, so that they wouldn't go cold and hungry without the warmth and cooking power of the fire.

If he could just find some more pieces of metal, he could make tools that would help them survive with the fire stick he kept hidden.

Blue scooted closer to Gaia as she cooked, rubbing her back. "Feel better? No more sick?" He asked, massaging her shoulders as he sat behind her, the smell of cooking meat making his mouth water. "Smells good." He said with a sniff. "Gaia makes good mate."

Gaia looked at the big basket and remembered those long sticks. Tomorrow she would bring back dead limbs and make them good for cooking. Gaia even resolved to make a shorter trip and go by the place she was found and gather some rocks.

Those rabbits were cooking well and even Yar Jah Ken was begging for a tidbit as Gaia turned the meat. They did smell good while roasting. Gaia paled slightly seeing other creatures venture near the opening.

Yar Jah Ken didn't like that and went chasing after the intruder. Whatever it was found the animal chasing was scarier then food.

The Head Keeper noticed this problem and made arrangements for a door to be installed.

Blue couldn't help but laugh once he had a moment to calm down from seeing another animal skulking around just outside their cave. "Yar Jah Ken makes a good guard dog. He's been very good, he deserves a big treat." Blue said, taking a good sized portion of his rabbit and tearing it into bite size pieces for the Yar Jah Ken. "There you go, boy, enjoy." He said, offering the bits to the proud beast once it returned.

Gaia knew the Yar Jah Ken was a good protector from her past but notices the second name Blue Eyes calls him. "Baloo na ma Yar Jah Ken baoy?"

Gaia likes the shorter name for the animal. She watches him take food from Blue Eyes hand and smiles. Gaia knows that Boy will protect Blue Eyes just like he would her.

"Its as good a name as any and boy doesn't seem to mind." Blue said with a nod as he fed boy the last bit of rabbit he'd cut up for it and scratched it behind its ear. "All gone, boy, all gone." He patted Boy's head, turning to Gaia. "Boy seemed to know you, do you think he's the same Yar Jah Ken from your tribe?" That would explain why it was so well trained and had helped him find Gaia today.

Blue quickly ate his portion of rabbit then drew close to the fire to keep himself warm. "Gaia full?" He asked, wanting to make sure she was well fed so that their child would grow strong and healthy within her.

Gaia called the creature to her and checked the second leg on the left. There was the ink mark of her tribe.. "Han... it. Da wun .fom ha ome."

Gaia showed Blue Eyes the brand. It was deep burgundy and shaped like a tall man with a river beside it. It was her family's mark. "Ta all wuns"

Gaia ate the back legs of the first rabbit. It was very filling to her and she washed her hands and face with old water. Still the ache in her head did not pass.

"Gaia baed naow." Gaia rose and went .to sleep among the furs. It only took a few moments before she was sleeping soundly.

Blue was pleased to learn that boy was from Gaias tribe, although he thought she would have been more excited by it too. Maybe the reminder of home made her feel sad, he couldn't tell.

She ate and washed up, seeming a bit distant. Blue just figured it was exhaustion so he let her be and pet boy until the fire died down. Growing cold, he went and snuggled up with Gaia, careful not to wake her.

Gaia felt him lay beside her and turns over to snuggle with Blue Eyes. In his arms she found peace.

Unable to explain how many changes happened so quickly was forgotten as Blue Eyes calm breathing echoed in her ears..

When morning came Gaia made bread and fixes the rabbit meat inside. They were still warm when Gaia took her basket sticks off to the rocks and another tree. Gaia was gone an hour.when she found the new pool. Gaia filled the two water skins and picked over stones looking for ones they would make an oven.

Gaia notices dead limbs and packs them in the basket. On her walk back Gaia found mushrooms and Boy was rooting them from the ground. She had to move quick or Boy would eat them all.

Blue felt Gaia stirring, half asleep and mumbled that he loved her as she snuggled in against him. Maybe captivity wasn't so bad, as long as he had her to cuddle up with at night.

The absence of Gaia's warmth woke Blue, but he wasn't ready to get up yet, it wasn't until the alluring smell of her cooking reached him that he decided to rise for the day. "It smells delicious." He remarked as he came over to where she was preparing them, scratching his belly. He took one of the meat rolls she made and started nibbling at it as she got up and gathered her things. "Maybe we should let each other know where we are going today?" He asked, still concerned about her head. "Just in case something happens, so we will know where to look in case one of us doesn't come home before dark again?"

They had Boy now though, so as long as he was okay, Blue knew he would warn one of them if the other was hurt or lost, but it would still be good for them to have some general idea what each other was up to, just in case, it was more dangerous out there than he first thought.

Once Blue finished his breakfast he gathered his weapons and went out, hunting, staying closer to the cave and away from the tall grass this time, searching for some more metal and wood as he went. He picked up the trail of another boar and followed it to a briar patch, where it had been making a den.

The beast rushed at him on sight and tried to gore him but he dodged and swung his blade for its neck, biting into its flesh deep, sending out a spurt of the boar's blood. It squeeled in pain and stumbled to its side struggling to live. Blue came over to it, thanking it for its sacrifice and slipped his blade through it's ribs, ending its pain as quickly and humanely as he could.

He rolled it onto his shield, the curved disk made for more than just protection, it was good for dragging carcases back to their cave. Slowed by the work of hauling the boar back Blue took another hour to get back to the cave. He found it and was surprised and angry to find it apparently sealed from a distance. He left the boar 30 feet away and ran to the sealed entrance, ready to attack it until it was broken or he became exhausted.

However, as he approached it, the seal opened, as if it sensed his presence. He paused, stepped back, it closed. He stepped forward, it opened. He went and pushed the board up to the seal, it didn't open. He stepped over the boar, it opened. He was begining to understand how it worked when Gaia returned.

He got up, ran over to her and guided her to the metal seal to see if it would respond to her the same way it responded to him, and it did. "I think the Keepers did this." He explained. "Its a door that will only open for us. Boy! come!" He called, pulling Gaia back so that the door closed. "Go inside boy, go inside!" He urged and Boy stepped up to the door, sitting and looking back at Blue, confused. The seal wouldn't open for Boy like it did for them. "See? We will have to let boy in and out now. He doesn't have to chase things away in the night now."

Gaia was surprised by this strange stone. She wanted to touch it but it kept to moving open so her attempts were thwarted.

Still watching Blue Eyes and his excitement made her smile.

Going inside she put the wood in place for cooking and started making more breads

Blue chuckled over Gaia's frustrated attempts to touch the door before it swished open. "It can sense us when we come near." He tried to explained, not really sure how it did it.

He loved her smile, even if she didn't understand what he was so excited about. He went inside and caught her up in his arms while she tried to work. He kissed the nape of her neck while she continued to form lumps of bread. "I'm blessed to have you Gaia." He whispered in her ear as he slipped his arms around her waist, hindering her cooking only slightly.

Gaia swats at Blue Eyes' arm. " Gaia ca ocks"

She tries to keep him from getting burned. She thought he wanted to mate again by the actions he displays.

"Baloo bra ache dem" pointing to the long branches she bought back with her. "Mack dem .sm all ler."

Blue had to chuckle over Gaias light swats at his strong arms. "Okay, okay I'll let you cook." He said, scooting back, but not before giving her an affectionate kiss on the shoulder. She gave him a task to do, and he did it with pride, fueling the fire with what he broke up for her.

With that done he went back to watching her work while scratching Boy behind his ear. Eventually he caught her eye and smiled, leaning forward, he asked her. "Anything else I can do to help, Gaia?"

Gaia made more rabbit filled rolls. She carefully handed Blue Eyes a few pastries

She grinned at Blue Eyes and wriggled her body for him. Gaia caught on to the signs of need and didn't protest when he dominated her body for pleasure.

Noel observed the pair and took notes on Gaia's changes . It seemed her breasts swelled and changed how low the skins hung.

Blue took the hearty rolls and tore into them, finding he was hungry in more than one way. Gaia playfully teased him with her nice round curves. She seemed to have begun filling out, her breasts looked more voluptuous now than the days before. He devoured the rest of his meal quickly as she nibbled at her own and wriggled for him, enticing him to come claim her.

He couldn't resist, and stalked toward her on his hands and knees, licking his lip as he drew near to her. He wanted to taste her and this time he wouldn't let her stop him. She might struggle, fearing he was trying to eat her again but if he just held her still long enough to show her what he really wanted to do to her he knew she would soon relax and even enjoy the wild pleasures of his mouth.

He laid her on her back and hovered over her parting her legs with one thick thigh, looking into her eyes with that other hunger that only her body could satiate. He gave her a deep and lingering kiss, a preview of what was to come. Then he sunk down, licking and kissing at her shoulder, her breasts, her belly as he went.

He took hold of her wrists and pinned them at her side's so that she could not strike him should she panic again once he tried to claim her sex with his mouth and tongue. He drew a deep breath and braced himself for her sudden rush of panic and struggling attempts to break free from him and dove down to passionately kiss and tongue Gaias tender sex.

Gaia made odd sounds as Blue Eyes began kissing her. Yet once he reached her belly Gaia became frightened and as predicted began to struggle.

"NO....NO" Gaia fought with him in such a manner that Boy was growling and drooling yellow goo.

Boy quickly started barking and his razor bones started lifting . "Yarjahken kuurof"

Gaia kicked out her left leg and brushed Blue's hip barely moving him from his intention.

Gaias own struggles sent Blues tongue bounding and dancing against her slit, it wasn't an elegant or pretty display but it did serve to send shoots of pleasure up along her spine when his tongue did strike the right spot. However, he knew better than to continue when he heard Boy growling. He froze and cooed gently for Boy to stay. He lifted his head and held Gaia still long enough to look into her panicked eyes. "Gaia, please, I'm not going to eat you, it's a... kiss! I only want to kiss you... here. Call Boy off." He hoped his calm but commanding tone cut through her panic and reached her before he got mauled by the Yarjahken.

Gaia heard Boy barking and quickly snapped her fingers. If Boy attacked they both would get hurt. Then a bolt of strangeness flew from her belly to her spine. Gaia gasps loudly then sees Blue's face in a haze.. did his mouth cause that?

"Boy! Nau..Boy keel." Gaia ordered.

Based on what she said the beast went and laid by the door. The razors on the back lowered and calmly sniffing at the edge of the doorway. Boy was ignoring them both by guarding the door.

Gaia returned her attention to Blue Eyes. "Baloo mak Gaia .fi errd?"

Gaia rose to semi sitting to see what he was doing. She wanted to know how he made her shake and feel fire.
