I subbed for the French teacher last week. I entertained myself by counting the number of Eiffel Towers in the classroom decor (26). I wish I'd had these pics to look at instead.

Whatever it may be, or wherever its roots may lie, I have no idea, but there has always been something just so consummately femme about a beret that it never fails to light me up.
No matter what the color, either, though for some reason most of the berets in the pics so far have been red.
