Saving adults (parents, grandparents, teachers, nurses, etc) lives “WAS ABOUT THE CHILDREN”.

The smoke in the cabin of a plane protocol is a good analogy. The adult puts their mask on first so there is someone alive who is capable of putting the masks on the children.

And I suppose our resident RWCJ “members” think more adults dying would have been less traumatic for “the children” than the fairly brief period of remote learning , etc.



Side note: Thanks in part to the Covid deniers and scoffers, there is a growing exodus / shortage of nurses and teachers, and less young people are going into those professions . They obviously saw / see that a large number of their fellow citizens are perfectly fine with exposing them to large numbers of infected kids. The new and disturbing trend in resistance to vaccinating kids is also a likely factor. Ironically, Covid mitigation efforts / vaccination protocols actually worked / work when implemented correctly.

Obviously the RWCJ “members” understand pandemic mitigation strategies about as well as they understand climate change mitigation strategies.

The article you posted yesterday with the 3 formula says it all and is supported by the DOE's own published metrics. The draconian measures they're trying to put in place will have little to no measurable benefit. But that's of no consequence because those measures will allow them to "feel good' about themselves while those in power can exert even more control upon the lives of the citizen.
