My mind rarely sticks to just one thing, and this is both good and bad. Good because I rarely want for ideas, and bad because I jump from thing to thing. Currently I'm working on a sequel to my story Back to the Ex (many thanks to all who commented and helped brainstorm, I have to get back to you) but I've a bunch of other ideas as well, so I thought I'd type a few up and see what people think of them.

Idea 1:

A husband and wife announces that they're trying for a baby, but the months go by and...nothing. The wife's best friend investigates, and its heavily implied that the husband is infertile but refusing to admit it. One weekend, when he's out of town, the best friend and her own husband seduce the wife, satisfy her and pump her full of the best friend's man's cum, which finally does what her husband can't and knocks her up. A bit cliche, but eh.

Idea 2:

The star of this tale is a shy, kinda wimpy virgin boy who has a crush on his outgoing, flirty, sexually experienced friend. He wants to take her up on her flirting and make her his girlfriend, but is scared he won't measure up or know what to do. They have a couple of sexual experiences together - things like her grinding on his dick, flashing her skirt at him, whatever, but he's too much of a wimp to actually get the girl. There's shades of cuckoldry here, as he knows she fucks other men.

However, he then goes away to uni, loses his virginity to someone else, and gains a bit of skill and confidence. When they meet in the summer holidays a year later, she flirts again and he does take her up on it, leading to great sex and a happy ending.

Idea 3:

A guy agrees to stay overnight in a haunted house, convinced by his friends's promise to sleep with him if he does. She's confident she won't have to...because she knows the ghost is real, and he's gonna be running for his life within the hour.

That's not the twist. The twist is that the ghost is ludicrously horny because she died in the middle of sex, has spent the last four hundred years unsatisfied, and haunts people to take out her frustration on them. But our hero becomes the first person not to run from her, sticking it out so he can win the dare, and ends up accepting her for what she is. After that, spending the night in the haunted house becomes extremely pleasant as she relieves several hundred years of sexual frustration with him, and gives him some tips on how to rail his friend when he wins his bet.


Do any of these sound decent? Do you have any thoughts on how to spice then up? If I could write only one, which would you want it to be?

Regarding idea number 2 - in the real 21st Century world we live in, the problem is not so much with him as it is with her. A girl like that would at best friendzone him, as she has plenty of other options. She might flash herself at him, but she's not actually going to touch him (the cock grinding thing).

If that guy had any sense, he'd try to keep the girl he lost his virginity to. She obviously is attracted to him in some way. Even if he did manage to land that flirty girl, she's going to dump him pretty quickly. Then, when she reaches the age of thirty-seven or so, she's going to regret everything she's done, but it's too late by then.

I know, I did it again.

That happens a lot, but it's not a foregone conclusion. Nice things still happen in the world here and there. For sure, she's not initially taking him seriously, but I was thinking of a sort of "He'd be my type if he was just a bit cooler and more assertive, what a shame" characterisation. And in the year that passes, he becomes that.

I'd write about that first girl he met at the university. Maybe he thinks he can do better with the flirty girl. When he doesn't, he tries to go to the first one - well, maybe she takes him back, maybe not. Two possibilities for the story.

There needs to be a Shakespearean emotional element of “how do you like me now?” where he comes back into town with a happy pregnant gf and friend zone girl realizes what she could have had, if not for her hubris.

That does happen sometimes. A possible scenario is that by the time he's in his 30s, he has the resources to attract younger women. Somebody online debunked that, saying that is less true in Western countries because women here have more resources of their own - but more true in less wealthy nations where everyone is scrambling. Agreed. Number three has great potential. There’s a whole sexy ghost hunting genre waiting to be explored. Just think of Sleepy Hollow redone with fucking, or any of the horror stories like Elm Street with the gore replaced with sex.
