what vacation accident have I missed something?

I Chicago, on my vacation.
My son and I were on a lakefront Segway tour and we both had it mastered. Unfortunately, another one or two in our group didn't have it figured out. The woman knew that, so went slow, but the guy didn't. Hehit me from behind and I was the one to go flying. They wanted to take me to the hospital, but I knew that would mess up the rest of our trip, so we continued our vacation activities. Lots of OTC pain meds (now have some better stuff from doctor here). Still have headaches, sore ribs and wrist that seems a bit sprained. Slowing me down a bit, and going to bed much earlier these days - less time for poetry on the side.

Ohhhh what bad luck! Can't you claim anything on holiday insurance? Although I suppose that could come under dangerous sports!

We had insurance against concallations etc., but since we didn't miss anything...
And had to sign waivers before doing the Segway tour.

pleeeeeeeeeease lose all those ellipses! This reads like a list of song titles and I think we get the gist of 'Missing you' the first time it doesn't need to go in anymore!

Explanation: My mother is pretty cold. I have never seen her cry. I cried like a baby when her second husband died. Not a tear from her.

Her mother did too. I only cry out of severe pain or utter despair myself.

My mum is not the warmest person. Never hugs us. My sister and I cannot understand stand her at all, less since we've had kids ourselves.

It was this uni assignment and I did the stupidest thing. i failed to take into account a theory that I had just been explaining to my husband the day before. D'oh. I got so bitchslapped by my tutor.
