Quirky Limits

My s.o. is completely submissive to me and I have pushed (and I think extended) her pain threshold beyond anything that I would be able to take.(But then again, I'm not a masochist)
When I think of everything I've put her through, she still has 1 unmovable hard limit which I find really strange and quirky (considering how edgy we can be)...

I cannot for love, money, whips or chains get her to consent to wearing a hood.

Just for fun and interest's sake, I'd like to hear if there are any other 'quirky' limits that any of you have or have come across.
 
Slapping my face.
It's a temper trigger and completely uncontrollable. (Seriously, the last person who slapped my face wound up in hospital) So it's a NO GO zone for me.
 
Degrading someone verbally. Oh sure, I can use names like "slut" or "cunt", but I can't call someone a "whore" or "bitch". And I can't do the scene where I tear someone down verbally and tell them how terrible or useless or worthless they are.
 
LOL. I know a masochistic sub who cannot bend over or get hung upside down for long periods of time or she passes out, so it's become a hard limit. Any position that puts her head below her hips causes the problem...

I'm still shamefully new at all of this so I've no NO idea where my limits would be whilst engaged in play... so I may fill up a few spaces here yet! :D
I have the face-slapping limit (or rather reaction) from years back so I just KNOW that that would be a bad idea.
 
While i LOVE LOVE LOVE some things that could be considered "edgy," hoods are a no-no for me as well at this point. i don't like the feeling of not being able to breathe.

I don't find the hard limit of hoods to be strange at all....in normal life everyone has their own little fears and paranoia's....why would the bdsm world be any different?
Hoods have a very entrapping feeling...I could imagine it's scary for a lot of subs.
 
Any kind of religious theme or connotations....instant turn off and hard limit.

Oh - 'forced' feminization.

Many submissives have a tremendous capacity for pain tolerance but I'm so down with the no hood or extreme gag thing. far too claustrophobic for that. As it is I had to desentisize slowly to allow myself to be put in full bondage. Next we'll work on blindfolded in full bondage. Just keep those cages and closets away from me...far away.

Do not tickle my feet. Never. Ever. It's not fun to me it feels horrible.
 
I won't shave my pubic hair, or let it be shaved, for anybody. Been there, hated that. In fact, it was so ugly that I couldn't let my lover down there (i.e., panties to bed) until it grew back.
 
Hoods, blindfolds, gags, bound, caged, whipped etc. none of it bothers me a bit, even boring if you don't move along with the program and while a do have a few hard limits (poop ~ ewwwww, gang bangs ~ hell no) they arn't quirky except ......DO NOT PUT FOOD ON ME! I have that fear of hoods too. Which is why my Dom ordered me to make one. I am still working on it. I'll let you all know after I see him the end of Oct if I was able to go through with it without a full panic. I am very claustophobic. I won't even go on cruises because I I feel I can't escape to land. I rather walk 10 flights in heels than go in an elevator. oh well we will see.....

As far as quirky limits...my Dom is really into costumes. There are some I just can't bring my self to do--like a nun costume. Or anything that I feel would be disrespectful (military uniforms, etc)
 
I have no quirky limits.

All of my limits are perfectly rational.

Hoods aren't about pain...

and they are a hard limit for me. Hoods, masks, gags...
