Could someone point me in the direction of a fetish check list?

Hi.. i've been lurking on this board for a while now.. and Master has finally given His permission for me to actually join and participate.

i've looked at the fetish check list at ALT.com, but i was wondering if there are others out there that might be a bit different.

I believe this checklist was suggested the other week, and seems to incorporate more fetishy sorts of things than most BDSM limits/interests checklists.

Other checklists can be found in the BDSM Library thread pinned to the top of the forum.

Thanks both of you...

CutieMouse.. i've been reading here for a while and i thought you would be the one to point me in the right direction :)

I am nothing if not predictable...

Of course, one can also do what I have done and create your own checklist so it has all you want and need on it in just the way you want...now there's a novel idea!! :D

This works, unless someone is very new. A checklist is good because it may bring up things you never thought of, but your PYL has thought of. How can you make something a hard limit if it never entered your mind? I found it very helpful in the beginning as a starting point.

Communication...believe me, I have yet to find a checklist with everything on it, so yes, sometimes you are going to miss something simply because it wasn't there and you didn't think about it after filling in the zillion questions you already did. I also used checklists in the beginning (and we do if we are looking at someone to join our play), but there was always something which was not on it, or a particular way a specified item could be used or done which required talking and the PYL mentioning those things to see how I felt about them etc....the 2 have to compliment each other, but often making your own helps, especially by including things that you can't find on the previous one you read. or which are important enough for someone to feel it should eb there.

I love looking at these as an inspiration, even when you're jaded and been at it. Sometimes it's like "oh yeah, we both wanted to do that!"

Yup. I still browse through checklists about once a year, just to see where I'm at with things.

We used a checklist as a starting point for the conversation. It gave some new ideas of stuff we wanted to try and ideas of things that we at this point have no interest in doing.
