You are now witnessing the damage caused when you "giggle with the racists".
For decades, fellow officers have refused to reign in racists within police departments - racists who have the power to take lives.
For decades, people have refused to reign in racists within the Republican party, or put their racist voters in check.
Result: dead police officers in multiple states, and a bigot taking over - and effectively destroying - that party.
Make no mistake: this is your fault, those of you who've tacitly accepted racism from others who validate your worldview, or vote for the same people you do. Every time you let their bigotry slide as a "joke", encouraged it, conveniently looked the other way, or otherwise refused to address it, you fueled the fire.
These deaths and The Donald are bad results. Bad people are committing these murders, and he is a bad man. But you "gigglers" - yours is the mindset which gave them purpose. Fact.
