Sexual Twist on The Lottery by Shirley Jackson

I am thinking about a story based on Shirley Jacksons The Lottery.

Instead of being stoned to death, the winner is sexually ravaged by all comers.

It could part of a spring fertility ritual and any person between 18 and 60 is chosen

Or

it cold be a rite of passge where one person who turned 18 during the year is chosen to be sexually used by everyone in the community for 24 hours.

or...

Sounds interesting.

How about this: There is a small community of people. Very religious. Very strict. They live based on their customs.

People don't have sex outside of marriage. Ever. But with one exception, in one day.

Every year there is a lottery. The person who wins gets gang banged at the town hall. Thus, experiencing powerful orgasms- repeatedly until there's nothing left.

This year, the winner is a single virgin, age 21 or so. She's shocked, but excited. Most of the story is the build up and her journey. It ends with a massive orgy.

Very interesting idea, particularly when you know it's based on such an acclaimed work. I'm tempted to give it a shot myself but I don't know if it would suit my usual audience since the themes, at least as I see them, would lend towards a darker tone.

I would really like to see someone pull off a 'happy' version of the story that still goes all the way down the path.

Maybe it's some sort of Survival of the Fittest type festival. Most of the time, men aren't competing with each other to impregnate women, but once a year they have this festival so that the resulting child is (presumably) sired by the man with the best sperm. Add some impregnation to the mix, if you're into that.
