orgasmic...well if thats a mood and :D :D :D :cathappy:

I swear to god thats my best strawberry jam yet...so very dark red and an absolute explosion of strawberry taste in the mouth.

:nana: :nana: And that my dear mother-in-law is why I use the best strawberries :p

Indeed.

I love that feeling of triumph when the jam comes out right.

I haven't made jam or chutney or pickles for some time, since the ex and I split and we sold the house. I do miss it, though.

Strawberry Jam, Raspberry Jam, Quince jelly, marmalade, green tomato chutney, pickled red cabbage, pickled shallots..............*drool*........can't be home made stuff.

And all matched up with home made bread, rolls, pizza.

I think I'm really going to have to do some kind of baking/cooking this weekend, just to make sure I haven't forgotten how.

Good morning, Lit! :)

Friday. Busy weekend ahead. I've gotta finalize my selections for Coming Together: For the Cure. Bel & I have a month-long gig launching on the Coffee Time Romance forum. I have 3 book covers to complete ASAP for July releases. Plus, we need to get started on our Sixties' story for the Desdmona contest. That ought to keep me out of trouble for the weekend.

Maybe. ;)

Hope everyone has a great day! :kiss:es & :rose:es & {{{{HUGS}}}} as needed ...

Where the HELL do you find all energy??!!
I have so many things I want/need/should do, but I can't get off my arse and do anything of them.

I've managed to scan some documents I need to send to the Inland Revenue, that at least I can tick off the list.

I've emptied the washer..........and filled it again.

*sigh*......I so need some of your energy.

Pass some over. Please??

*bats eyelids*

:)

I feel better. I got my hair highlighted and cut , ready for yet another interview next Saturday.
All I want is a job that pays well, and is in town, is that too much to ask?

ps. dd got her very first kiss last night...young love!

Relieved.

House sold - just above the reserve. It almost seemed that it wouldn't sell.

The buyers know they have a bargain and are happy. We are slightly disappointed but can move on. On the way back home my wife called in at work and gave her notice to retire in six weeks time.

Now for granddaughter's party tomorrow. :nana: :nana: :nana:

You're welcome. I'm empathic that way. ;)
A shame to kick such a nice ass.

Huggly wugglies.

Kinda excited -I've got a new website opening, and it's gona be great.

kinda content -the sun is shining,I've got washing on the line.

Kinda happy - a PM made me smile.

*hugs* I hope that it's the last three, cause they're all positive. :)

I'm doing better than earlier, thank the gods. But now I'm stuck, I got so many ideas for the way my story can go but I don't want to overdo it, lol. So many options and all of them I can see, makes things a little difficult...So I guess maybe puzzled would be my mood, lol.

Puzzled, I know that feeling!

It kind of sucks, I guess my mind is going a little hyperactive at the moment, especially since I put on my mood music to hopefully come close to finishing, if not actually finish, the story tonight.

Mellow

It's going to be difficult to maintain, though, because tonight is the night of the Dinner Party... Notice the capitalisation? That isn't an accident - it reflects the importance that's been awarded to the event, and if I had the energy I would have increased those capital letters to a larger font size than all the rest.

Four shrinks are coming over for a very formal dinner. I wouldn't mind, but my sister always turns into a perfectionist over the state of the house, which you can't do with two dogs and a kid. She still doesn't know what she's going to do as a starter, and the air in the house is already a bit thin. So I'm going to have to watch my Ps and Qs.

I got invited to the dinner party, but there are so many rules about what I can say and what I can't say that I think I'm going to go over to a friend's for some pizza and a skate instead.

I'm going to have enough fucking dinner parties and civilised drinks sessions (which is a complete contradiction in terms when it comes to me and alcohol, because last time I ended up in a shopping cart  ) when I start my new job. So tonight I'm going to make the most of chilling out with a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, looking at porno mags with him and comparing notes  I'm tempted to drag him out to a gay bar, too, so that I can check out what Cardiff has to offer :catroar:

Hope you all have a nice day :rose:

Morning EL, Scheh (you and a 'posh' dinner party??? I just can't see it.)

Up and about nice and early (I know, but believe me, 9am on a Saturday is earl - she has to work!), the early mist has cleared - despite the occasional fog horn coming from the nearby sea, the sun is shining bright, sky is brilliant blue.

I've treated mesen to a yummy Full English, and I have plenty of stuff I need to do. One of those things is to get my new rotary washing line set up so I can make the most of the drying weather.

But before that, I have to trek into town, have a 'to do' with the bank about a missing cheque, among other things.

After that, I want to do work on the garden, start clearing the spare room....not sure how much I'll get done, but I'm starting the day with very good intentions.

We'll see how long it lasts.

:)

I can do it, honest! just as long as I'm allowed to be myself. But the rules for this one just reached insane proportions. There's to be no going out for a smoke between courses and coming in looking glassy-eyed; no discussion of sex, bodily functions, badly-behaved kids or illegal activities; no swearing; no politically incorrect utterences; no taking the last of the food - in case the guests want seconds, but are too polite to ask; and no alcohol (because all of the above are more likely to happen if I've been drinking)

Sounds like a ball :D
I'd say 'have fun' but it doesn't quite ring true.

Still, morning to all (though I did post here a couple of hours ago - some of us have work to do  )

Done a couple of hours editing (re-write of a too hastily written chapter).
Got to go shopping. Market. Measuring up for bathroom equipment, trip into Lisbon, Gulbenkian Foundation to take some pics of an exhibition the SO needs. Lunch at Expo and back home for more editing... maybe.

Later folks (as Rob would say)

Ye gods, with all those restrictions, even I would be uncomfortable.
I can't believe you're actually considering staying!

Time for me to get my arse into gear. The wife has left for work, I have chores to do in town.

Later, lovelies.

Have a nice time in town

As for the Dinner Party... Well, the food would be nice, but with the restrictions in place I'm definitely better off going skating with a middle aged man who knows I'm gay, and is totally harmless, but still hasn't quite given up the hope of getting into my panties...

Tonight will probably end with me getting a text from him, saying something along the lines of: "I knows ur lez and into women and all that but if u just let me lick you I promise you'd enjoy it, Zade. I loves pleasuring a fit girl like you."

I'll turn my phone off at that point and completely ignore him. When I wake up tomorrow morning, there'll be two text messages. One will have been sent immediately after the previous, and will say something along the lines of: "When we was sitting there and u were leaning back against the cushions smoking your spliff I was thinking about putting on that lez porno I was telling u about, and letting you watch it while I go down on you"

The second message will have been sent when he's sobered up the next morning, and will read: "Sorry for last night, girl. I luvs you as a friend and you knows I respect your life choices and all that. Got to cut back on the Stellas, find meself some fit young college type like urself."

My only other option involves going on a date with a woman I'm not particularly interested in... or staying in for the Dinner Party.

I'm starting to feel lazy after reading all that! I still haven't got out of bed, except to have breakfast

Have fun

my goodness, it's HOT out there today.

I've been out to do some shopping, put out some washing and tidied up the living room -oh and put the pork in the slow cooker.

Mood: glum, which seems a bit silly, but hey-ho. I'm sure I'll snap out of it later :)
