They got a name for the winners in the world
I want a name when I lose
They call Alabama the Crimson Tide
Call me Deacon Blues

Years ago, I sat in front of my monitor with the registration for lit sitting in front of me. I guess it was 13 years ago exactly. Almost. Within reason.

I was about to turn 30.

Sure, I could have gone with 5inches69 or workoutguy24 or whatever.

I went to a place I often go. I went to music.

I was listening heavily to an album by dUg Pinnick (Poundhound) called Massive Grooves. It truly represented my music tastes at the time. Heavy, drop D tuning. Riffs.

I had this album on continuous cycle.

Pinnick is in his 60s now and continues to put out great music. His 2013 solo album Naked is quite good. He has put out six albums the last two years. I still listen.

Around the time of my registration, I picked up an album it would take me a few years to get into. I was a big Kyuss fan, so Rated R by Queens of the Stone Age was a must have for me. Still drop D tuning, for the most part, but it had some great moments.

In the Fade is one of my top played songs today. May be a Lanegan gem for the ages.

Enough about that song for now. Back to the title song.

This is the day
Of the expanding man
That shape is my shade
There where I used to stand
It seems like only yesterday
I gazed through the glass
At ramblers
Wild gamblers
That's all in the past

All so true. Don't know how much I'll show. With all the expanding and stuff, I definitely look better dressed.

I have a couple weeks until my birthday. I'm not MG anymore. He died in a hard drive fire. All smoke and fumes. Was really quite sad.

Yet, I feel like sharing. I feel like having a little party before my next birthday. This time of year does it to me.

And a placeholder for the future if I get the itch.

Be good.

I admit bro you got my attention with the title. I was thinking more along the lines of Steely Dan though. Not much drop D tuning with them. Lol

Listening to a ton of Steely Dan lately.

Guess I missed making that point.

Getting older. Less drop D.

well, you're looking good, and I like your introduction. I'm all in favor of celebrating ahead, when it comes to birthdays... and after...

a hard drive fire -- oh dear
sounds like a devastating loss [and smelly, to boot!]

do carry on...

My dear we have all expanded and from this photo your expansion is very nice indeed. I look forward to seeing more of you and reading more of your musings.

In photos and words you are off to a great start.

I love Steeley Dan also.

Keep Reelin in the years brother.

Thank you.

I wrote that it was the smell of porn burning

They wrote some good stuff.

Maybe I'll just quote lyrics for every photo

The years definitely keep reelin'

I won't pretend to know anything about all that music you're talking about, but you are so sexy. Clothed or unclothed. I'd also venture to say that you're more attractive now than you probably were 20 years ago! ;)

No need for puppet shows.

Thank you, but I've had better days.

We'll see if I get my ass in gear this year.

The world expects a pose
Perfectly natural
Loosen up
Smearing wet concrete and
Swearing you'll never be caught
At your weakest, etched in stone
And we're frozen here, peeking
Almost, sweet talk, caffeine

So have I! I've gained about 20 lbs! Lol.

You have your opinion of yourself, the rest of us can't get enough of looking at you!

Very very nice.

Searching my mind for lyrics to go with this one.

Burning Beard by Clutch came to mind.

I'm drawing a blank.

I have this nice, new razor though.

You know my weaknesses. I love this one.

Oh and you're hot as fuck by the way.

Very happy to see your reincarnation, and to have you posting sexy photos again. While the fire is sad, it sounds like a nice clean start for the new year and moving forward. I know it's so hard to convince you, but I find you sexier than ever now! :):kiss:

That first one would be a very nice addition to my new forearm thread. ;) I would also love it very much if you would consider taking more photos of your forearms and posting them there for the lusty ladies of Lit. Please, please, pretty please? :D:heart:

This one is Super Hot! I have such a thing for man fur, and imagining running my fingers through it, and rubbing myself all up against against it.:kiss:

I volunteer as tribute! (You won't understand this, but someone might find it amusing).

I had to google that shit.

Because I was sure it wasn't the lit definition of a tribute

I'm glad I did before I got the printer warmed up

Thank you. I appreciate your very kind words.

You know I never leave my pictures up for long. Temporarily, this time, until my birthday. The crisis lives on. We just don't need to talk about it anymore.

I'm glad you like my new razor too ;)

It really does the job. And it may really do the full job soon.

I realize I am weird. I don't drink much caffeine, no coffee and an occasionally Diet cola.

This is crazy sexy.

I hate coffee.

But I like a Red Bull.

We are all weird.

And Caffeine was the name of that song. I like it.

And thanks.
