Writing a chapter about a lesbian (Joanna) finding an old VHS tape of her mother (Victoria) and her aunt in law(Elizabeth) having sex together. It is in a box of her now dead uncle’s stuff, Both women or very much pregnant with the mom being pregnant with Joanna while her Aunt is pregnant with her cousin Alexander. Still trying how best to write this and have written two lead in acts, one of Jo finding the tape and another of her mom deciding to record them. Should I stick with Joanna and write it from her POV as she masturbates to the tape, cut back in forth between the timelines, or just stick with the moms to be and use Jo as an opening and ending. Thoughts, Ideas?
 
Personally, I think using all 4 characters would become a bit complex.

I like the idea of following Joanna through all this, either with 3rd person, or direct pov.

Maybe the first time she watches the video, she sees her sexy aunt stripping for the camera. She's stunned that her aunt would do something like that, yet aroused, since the aunt is sexy.

Joanna had to stop because the mom came home, and she later found herself masturbating to it later at night.

The next day, Joanna tries watching it again, and is shocked to discover that her mother was the one filming in, followed by a lesbian scene.

Just a thought...
 
I like the idea of sticking to Joanna as a framing device:

Introduction: Joanna finds the tape, starts to watch.
Main Story: however much time it takes to tell the tale of Vicky and Lizzy and Uncle Perv.
Epilogue: Joanna comes to the end of the tape. Thinks about her aged but still hot mom just down the hall. Gets naked but puts on a soft fluffy robe. Walks down the hall. Knocks on the door.....
 
I really like the premise for this story and would love to see how it develops.

It's difficult to advise you when I don't know all the details of the proposed set-up and I'm not sure what appeals to you as a writer. How old are Joanna and her cousin Alexander now? How old are their mothers currently? Presumably Joanna's deceased uncle filmed their tryst since (a) a camera(wo)man is needed and (b) the video was found among his possessions. Did he also participate or did he just observe from the periphery? Was this a one-off thing between the women or was there an extended sexual relationship? Does Joanna's father have any role to play?

The practical problem with the scenario is that I do not see why Joanna would be going through her uncle's - not a blood relative - possessions when his widow and son are still living. For me, it would be more fun if Victoria and Elizabeth were clearing out the uncle's stuff and came upon the tape. They decide to stick it in the VCR and rekindle old memories. The women are still in their forties and unexpectedly become excited by what they see. They end up half naked and fingering each other while they continue to watch. Both of them forget that Joanna is in the house. She hears the sound of the video, and the panting noises of her mom and aunt, and goes to investigate. Initially horrified by what she sees, she nonetheless quietly watches through the half-open living room door. Joanna is in her early twenties, exactly the same age as when Victoria and Elizabeth first got it on. She is both intrigued and repelled by the action on the screen and in the room. Eventually she is discovered and coerced into sex with the two women.

Too far-fetched? Perhaps, but it works for me!

Basicly its a chain of events thing, takes place in 1999. Mom (Liz) gives box of porn to son (Alex). Alex got a new dvd player last summer and has been buying dvd porn so he gave Jo his old vcr.
Jo and Alex or about to leave for college.
When Alex is going through dads porn collection he gives the old tapes to his cousin and lesbian best friend Joanna. neither Liz nor Vicky know that Frank still had the tape since he had been angry when he found it. The very end of the story will flash back to 1980 with him drunk hooking up with a native american stripper one night then 1981 of her giving birth to her daughter Shi- yázhí diyingo nidaalʼaʼí; diyin yá naalʼaʼí ya'aashii (Angel)
