What a powerful writer! RIP.

Here's a link to some of her English translations. It's her official page so I'm assuming they are her own (I haven't read much there yet). But go read her--it's beautiful writing.

Pretty terrific stuff, eh? One of my favorite poets ever is the late Farrouk Farrokzhad, and it is fascinating to read another Iranian woman's poems, especially since they would have been contemporaries for a while (Farrokzhad died in the 1960s, I think). I def saw some similarities. :)
