M: Read? The idiot has made over 37,000 posts in under 7 years.

L: He has? How many does that work out to a year?

M: Don't worry about per year! This nut is averaging over 18 1/2 posts per day. Every day. Even when he's on vacation ... Including Saturdays and Sundays...

L: Sundays! The day of rest? Doesn't he go to Church.

M:His church has wifi. Posts right from the pews...

L: Manny, do you think its time to put a limit on the number of posts a person can make? We've limited threads so why not posters? I mean it is these abusers of the system who've caused the problem.

M: Remember the suggestion jrs esq made 5 years ago? 100 free posts per year per poster before we start charging them. Maybe we should revisit that idea...​
 
To alleviate server load, we're slowly closing down any threads with over 5,000 posts.

As annoying as this may be, phasing out all or most of the active super-long/never-ending threads will increase the forum speed substantially. If you see a thread that's active with more than 5,000 posts, please feel free to PM me with the link.
