I am an artist and I used to do a lot of figure drawing back my college days.

I miss it. But I almost never get out of the house for long enough to attend any life drawing sessions.

So I am turned to my favorite website for help.

Does anyone want a life drawing of themselves done?
Could be nude, clothed, or anything in between.
I just need the practice and drawing for real people is better than just pulling stuff off the internet.

Maybe after a couple drawings, I will step up into illustrating someone's story.
any thoughts?

since you don't get out of the house much, I take it you will invite someone to model at your house?

You should indicate where you live (area/region).

Maybe post some samples, so perspective models could get a feel for your style and possible interest.

No, I was thinking mainly of working from photos.

Inviting people to come to my home sounds creepy.

I am trying to find some samples as we speak. Found one so far

oh!
So not actually "life drawing"

Gotchya.

ok, I guess that's fair.

It would not technically be a life drawing because it would not be done live.

So just a drawing.

Does that clear things up?

pretty much.
You'd also noted that you'd rather not "just pull stuff (images) off the internet".
That added to my confusion.

I can see why that would be confusing.

I meant to say that drawing FOR someone is more satisfying than just drawing for myself.

Yep, I saw the "for", but had to pry that out from between the lines.

With only a few posts under your belt, it might be a while before you get any "nibbles"...maybe. Many folk are a bit hesitant about handing over images to strangers. I am sure you'll generate interest in time.

Yea I thought it would take some time.

Maybe I should ask someone that's posting photos if they would like a drawing?

AH!
That could be a very good route.:)
Especially if you post a few more samples.

(this corner of LIT is not very well traveled)
