I work at an upstate New York healthcare company, one that's growing as they accept smaller businesses and larger ones leave the Blues for us, we're cheaper, offer better benefits for employees and their families, and have much better personal contact. There are people dedicated to talking with those who have questions, whether from HR to the employee.

There are about 14 of us in the IT department - not including the administrative professionals - and that includes two programmers who can actually perform hardware repair, lifesavers! There are five women who work closely with me, and I do say me because I work out of a converted small conference/breakroom, it's a floor away from everyone else in the department and still has two small dorm fridges :D

I can see from the business side of eliminating jobs: Saving money. I can see it from your side: Hair-pulling frustration because you're only one person.

(And two of the five are, umm, nicely stacked. I know, BAD, but whew!! They're uber intelligent like you, but I'm not going to lie.)

Sounds nice. I can't even guess how many work in IT as a whole, probably 300. 20 some in my department and my region, probably 100 some in my specific department nationwide, maybe more. yes we don't know most of our employees lol. and always nice to work with women you like looking at.

thank you and lol. Actually my back doesn't hurt at all. Before the internet was what it is, I did have shoulder pain though. A lot of really busty women make the mistake of increasing their band size to cover for the fact they can't find big enough cups. Also back in the day, American manufacturers told women to add 4 inches to their band measurement. Problem is, that means the band is doing nothing, making the shoulder straps do all of the support, thus causing back pain. I see women all the time who say they are a like a 40G when they are obviously more like a 36J. It just isn't carried in stores, so they have never been able to try one, thus shoulder pain, which leads to back pain

Wow that is surprising. OK, my hubby probably doesn't know exactly what size, but again, I change sizes frequently. I just find it surprising you haven't gotten used to sharing. I have accepted when I person has gotten to know me enough to ask "may I ask you a personal question" the question is always "what size bra do you wear" followed by "are they real" I think nothing of answering

Just one first grader and she is an angel. Mostly.

They're not as much of a distraction as one may think, well, they are when they bring in baked goods or come into the office to escape for a bit, get away from their cubicles and sit, drink a water or iced tea.
