Well, neither had I. I blame Jett.. ;) They do have curlews in Australia, but they are completely different to our British ones, don't have the long beak, and scream like a woman in pain, apparently...

It's a whole new world, but it's working out... :D

Oh if you feel badly enough then I'm sure there's a multitude of gestures he would appreciate on his lonely route around the neighborhood.
 
Nope, it's probably the only time I've ever wanted to be a postman. Plus, what a nice story it would be with a vengeful postman taking things a little rough.
