...the Republican-majority House of Representatives voted 244-185 today to repeal it, but that vote is mostly symbolic because the Democrat-majority Senate will not vote to repeal Obamacare.
So, some House Republicans are finally beginning to get down to the nitty-gritty with the "power over the purse" they Constitutionally possess...
It's not a new idea, but the Republicans haven't followed through with this power before because they've feared to enter a battle with the Democrat President and Democrat-majority Senate that, if it goes to actual political war, could easily shut-down the federal government completely...
...another item may very well soon come-up that the House Republicans also have total stopping power over: the debt ceiling is going to have to be raised once more if the federal government is to continue its spending.
