While AC/DC - The Razors Edge was the first record I bought, The Wall was the second. I think Wish You Were Here and Dark Side are better though.

I cant remember my first album (I think it might have been Kim Wilde or even Now6, thats just ruined my image!) First Floyd album was the Wall, followed shortly after by Momentary Lapse (i just love On the turning away)

dont rush and spoil it!

I was 15 by the time. By then I already had the first 100 CDs and no record player. But both were found in second hard stores at different times for £1.50 each. Needless to say I had to have them. Two years later I finally got a player;)

You see, thats why the Danish are such a prudent nation and are avoiding the worst of the global recession, they start young with the finances;) (I cheated and got an old hand me down from a cousin. It was huge, half the size of my bedroom and had a clear lift-up lid!) :eek:

I was supposed to get my parents old Bang & Olufsen (was about 1½ meters long and 70 cm wide, it took up an entire table) but it died :( Now I've got a random one, also second hand.

Bang & Olufsen?!! Now your just showing off!;) Mine was a Bush (sooo many jokes...) but the sound quality was awful, so it didn't last long. As soon as I could, I saved up for some Technics separates and never looked back....

Well, my parents got it from my uncle :p And I'm after all Danish, if we can't have B&O then who can? I'm actually considering replacing mine with another old B&O, they're cheap used since everybody had them in the 90s.

Another advantage of being a Dane, they are v sort after over here (and expensive!)

Thats pretty good, more than I can manage.:eek: I can just about twang out Layla, vveerrryyy sslllooowwwlllyyyy. Its not good.:( If you could play the intro to Thunderstruck I would be seriously impressed!!!

I've seen them used before for like £15 and I already have some good speakers, so... (I still haven't understood why I haven't gotten one already though ;))

Somehow I don't see that happening. I was once able to play The Jack :p
