I would like to support arm's point but in a nicer way. it is possible for Eric to use his abilities as a radar, and infrared motion sensor. hell it SHOULD be impossible for anyone to sneak up on him.

if he thought to do that. He just left Hank's office and he has NO CLUE what in the hell is going on at all. So i didn't even acknowledge it. if you get that creepy feeling sure, but if nothing happens immediately Juudai is not a hardened warrior. Tricia is exhausted. mistakes get made and they have NO clue what's going on. I'm likely going to get taken down without firing a single shot. Just how it goes.

Sucks sometimes but that's how it works. We just don't know and the story can go that way sometimes.

And the newest kid will probably be the first dropped. May be near invulnerable when armored but the armor at this time is a concious thing. They surprise her she's dropped.

Yes, like they have just said, No-one knows - nobody even saw the cops entering the grounds.

And basically, i was leading to be Wylds character who is the first PC to find out.

Powers: Is able to psionically change her body into mist and travel to places she can clearly remember and to places she can see. She can also transport things and people with her by touching them when she 'warps' as it were. She can do this only so many times in so long a period, given how many people she's transporting or how far can really put a large strain on her.

Family: Her father, Peter, and mother, June Hudgins were both ordinary people, as were her two younger brother Jeremy and Zachary. She also had a cute little pomeranian named Foxy mama, but she had to leave the ball of fur at home.

History: Gwen had a pretty simple childhood, her mother was a little overprotective asshe had been abused as a child and now kept an extra close eye on her own children. But Gwen and the twins escaped that mostly unfazed by their mother's need to know exactly where her children are. Gwen played sports and was pretty good in school even though she was a daydreamer. She'd often pretend like she was outside and think about all the fun she could be having.

Of course this wouldn't be unusual for most kids.

What had been unusual was the twelve year old looking out her window and thinking really hard about how she wanted to be out there climbing that tree and then suddenly finding herself in that tree. Of course it was the shock of the century and at the same time she knew that she was onto something wild.

For years she kept her talent hidden, not letting anyone know she could warp to other places. She just told her friends that she was sneaky and stealthy but never let anyone in on the joke. It was during her first semester at the community college that Gwen got a little big for her britches and got careless about her jumping. She had been using her aility to get into clubs with some of her older friends, there was nothing she could about getting a drink but at least she was able to get out and go dancing.

Gwen's powers surged a bit and she jumped a little too far and ended up between a very jealous girlfriend and her boyfriend. It wasn't long before a fight ensued on the dancefloor. Gwen fought to get out of the club but in a moment of panic couldn't concentrate with that girl attacking her. Gwen finally got herself together and warped herself, the girl, two bouncers, and the bartender outside in the middle of the street right in front of a police car.

Just her rotten luck.

No one could believe that she was a mutant and her parents, feeling afraid and lost, let their daughter be taken to Juvie for breaking and entering. Her argument was that she had just entered not really breaking anything in the process. It didn't hold water but after she was let out of Juvie she found her way tp this college for mutants. It was court ordered but she was calm knowing that if she needed to...

She could escape.

Personality: Gwen is ultimately a nice girl, she doesn't really have too much of a temper but she believes that she has a right to defend herself and will do so as best as she is able. She can be a little flakey, given her ability to leave at a moment's notice and go where ever she wants will do that do a girl. She's never really had to depend heavily on anyone, she's been in a situation where she can get anything she needs and get herself where ever she needs to be for a while so she's actually become pretty independent as well.

kk, nerdslut you are in. just remember that longer distances and transporting other than yourself tires you.

Obvious power list for the Skrulls so far include...

Lunast - Multiplicity, Wings, Ice manipulation
Medaii - Teleportation.

If I have forgotten any let me know, I will constantly update this. Do not think that these are the only powers they have - they have other powers as well, which i will reveal over time. remember that they also still possess the skrull ability to change shape.

Posted! You didn't say whether or not they had weapons, so I assumed they didn't need them, lol.

Hopefully, Lucy's little trick will take them by surprise, and at least slow them down a little.

Are any of their weapons light based?

They haven't shown any weapons yet, Drakk. The ones at the pool have wings, and Chris just told everyone they have ice powers, but that's all most of the characters know so far.

okay a few points drakwall;

a) the energy you create is psionic not heat based, thus the ice wouldn't melt.

b) they froze you completely, so you can't move.

c) no exploding orbs - i'm sure we spoke about this.

Yes the armour is resistant, but that just means it's stopping you from freezing to death. you wouldn't be able to escape until someone freed you, or until the ice melted. What you seem to be doing it constantly upping your powers and going almost wolverine at the characters.

Got it, kind of confusing when you say energy and the energy in question doesn't produce heat because it is neither cold or warm, I will edit right away.

Nerdslut: Lucy wasn't actually in the pool, so you'd have reached Gypsy before you got to her. Also, she had no intention of leaving at all, so I'd prefer if you either didn't teleport her, or moved them out of the pool itself but stayed near the pool area.

It was a good post, but, like I said, I'd rather Lucy didn't get moved away from the fight.

Sorry I can change it and I don't remember seeing her get out so my bad. And maybe I should just teleport Gypsy out of the pool

Drakkwall, I'm sure you read this post, but then I read your latest IC and wasn't sure. Nite made it pretty damn clear that your character was totally trapped in the ice. He didn't have a hand free to hit it or crack it or anything.

I'm going to edit MY latest IC post to free you from the ice, but I'm not going to cover for you again. This is the third or fourth time you've tried to get around things that Nite has said and that everyone else has agreed to and abides by.

Now. Please edit your IC post to reflect getting freed by one of Chris' optic blasts.

Yep, exactly! She was going to get back in, but that's when the Skrulls showed up.

As a fight breaks loose I realize how useless Gwen's powers actually are on the battlefield aside from materializing in grabbing someone and materializing out to a spot where someone won't die. lol
