in another post, someone mentioned Zinc producing stronger orgasms... i was wondering a) is this true? and b) does it also work in females?

any information is appreciated

I googled 'zinc orgasms' and couldn't find anything credible (that is, from a site/source that wasn't also selling something or had an ulterior motive) to support zinc intensifying orgasms. Zinc DOES indeed play a role in overall health, sexual health, and fertility in both sexes. It can increase sperm count and motility, and affects the sequence of ejaculation. It's also depleated with ejaculation, and most men especially don't get enough zinc for optimal health. (Reference Here )

Without finding any studies or credible sources, my best guess is the intensity of orgasm finding is a placebo effect. If you take something thinking it will help, you're likely to notice it does. Or, if you read something saying, "zinc improves sexual function," your brain may perceive orgasms as stronger as part of the improved sexual function.

Making sure you and your partner have enough zinc is very important, and can only help. If you think it gives you stronger orgasms, fantastic! However, you should do your research and ensure you are not overdosing or taking something that poses a danger to your health.
