Watching in amazement as the strange German left infirmary carrying the Bunsen burner, William nodded his head with a smile and followed the man, continuing to rant about this and that up toward the galley. Along the route the indelible form of the craft’s captain snared his attention. Dressed in a pink uniform that clearly did not fit her personality but had an amazing fit to her incredible body. Awe struck by the feminine power as she directed the controls and small crew of the airship, William paused just long enough to watch that the crazy German disappeared around the corner.
I shall find that man again, no doubt. William thought to himself of the delightful Von Weiss. William did indeed remember him from school. He was the most colorful and well liked of the visiting Professors. Everyone crowded into his lectures. It was the only “A” in William illustrious medical school career.
His attention focused on the movements of the captain, William did not notice the activity back down the corridor of the ships occupants beginning to gather for the night’s dinner and entertainment. Even the music drifting down the hall seemed to William to be generated in his head. He became lost in vision of the captain.
BAM!
The door to the bridge swung open and the captain stormed past William barely taking note of his presence. Her high leather boots came crashing down on his foot and did not even slow her determined progress. Holding his composure until she passed, William doubled over and held his foot. He watched the captain, more specifically her ass, sway down the corridor and into the dinning room. She carried a large stein of beer with her.
And now a few words from the man that made this voyage possible...I give you....(pause).... Graf von Zeppelin. PAY ATTENTION!" The captain glared at some passengers who did not instantly quiet down. He noticed her hand move toward a lugar holstered on her shapely sexy hip. Her pretty face flinched as she quickly sat and drank from the large stein.
William was quite relieved to see the only empty seat was beside the captain. Quickly and quietly William slipped into his seat and listened to the Count speak. An experiment? This could mean great things for Williams career, as the official staff physician he would help to draft the results and could get published! Not that William had much desire to become a world famous doctor, but this was different.
Following the speech, William took a couple long drinks from his wine. He gulped down more wine and a bit of courage, and looked over to the beautiful captain. Extending his hand to her, and opening his mouth the Baron stormed into the room carrying a platter of flaming steaks, replete with grill marks. The room scattered, as passengers and crew fled this way and that. Only the Count and the captain remained seated. William’s chair was knocked back in the commotion and he fell to the floor beside the lovely captain. As the room cleared he heard her tell Von Weiss to deposit one of the steaks for her to eat. Stumbling back to his chair, William picked up the thick steak knife and tapped his plate as well.
Rare for me, if you please, Herr Doktor. Turing to the captain he managed a smile. Greetings, I am the ship’s doctor. William Wangston, most people call me Will or Bill.
