You're beautiful...

I am beautiful, not because of what I see in the mirror, but for what I see, when I look through my eyes at the world.

From the movie "The Notebook"

THAT kind of love is so beautiful...and beyond...

And the ending of that movie is most precious of all...my heart wept...AND STILL weeps thinking of that...I think we all dream of that love story... I know I do...

OMG.

I love that. I know it's Roald Dahl. Is it from The Twits? Fantastic. (The BFG is worth a read at any age. :D )

Yes, it is. I love all of his children's books. Did you know he wrote adult fiction as well? It's absolutely fantastic.

Triple B, that list could have been written directly to me. I will start at the top and work my way to #10. I'm determined to be a 10 again (according to this particular list :D).

Thank you.

I guess this could be a thread of its own.

I want to thank the not so anonymous poster who sent me a lovely compliment this AM. Thank you!

This girl is gorgeous... I cannot believe she has to defend her body size (insert: what body size, right?)...actually, she doesn't defend it, she has a wonderful outlook towards her critics...

What makes the Kate Upton era so unlikely is that the things we love about her—tho se curves! that personality!—defy what the word model has come to mean, at least on the runway: a seemingly endless procession of lanky, expressionless wraiths. That is most certainly not Upton’s profile. (Descriptions of her figure tend to involve euphemisms for a single word: breasts.) And yet Upton’s body has sparked debate. This year’s Sports Illustrated cover—a shot of her in Antarctica, parka open to reveal a stunning breadth of cleavage—set off a fresh round of “Is she fat?” conversations across the Internet. “It was hard at first,” she admits of hearing such rumblings. “You sit there and you’re like ‘Is something wrong with me?’ ” But she’s learned to ignore her critics—and come to regard her healthy body as a point of pride. “The things that they’re rejecting are things that I can’t change. I can’t change my bra size. They’re natural! I can work out and I can stay healthy and motivated, but I can’t change some things. I really just live my life. I love my body. It’s what God gave me! I feel confident with myself, and if that inspires other women to feel confident with their bodies, great.”
