There is nothing more pure, more beautiful than the love between a person and his/her service dog. I have the pleasure of watching therapy dogs work their magic occasionally. It's nothing short of miraculous. The patient may be despondent, without hope or cheer. It's absolutely impossible to maintain that spirit in the presence of these dogs. They simply will not allow it. If the wagging tail and smiling eyes don't do the trick, the unconditional love does.

Pffft. Yeppers. I had no say in my being stuck...I was unconscious. I woulda stuck myself.

I am vedy, vedy happy that we are both off the druggy stuff. Feeling kinda lucid these days...kinda like it!!!

I'm glad you're doing better now! That's rough! We had IV issues for me. I kept telling them where my one good vein was but... Lol. They finally listened and put it there. I offered to start it for them. Lol. Once they got it in, we all babied it like crazy. Redheads are notoriously bad sticks. Nobody wanted to go on another Easter egg hunt for veins. Least of all me!

When will you start back to school? I'm gonna try to start back next week and hope to hell I have the energy to keep up w that and two jobs.

If you ever get the chance to hear tallhart in concert, please do. One of the guy's dad is a dear friend of mine. They're damn good. Even if I am a tad prejudiced.

If you YouTube their Drunk Kids video, you'll see my friend. He's standing on the staircase talking on the phone when they go upstairs. Dad is one of the CRNA's I've worked with forever.
