Your writing font?

You forgot to "harrumph" after posting that.
I chose it for 'technical' reasons.
It is not a compressed font (such as Time Roman), but
possessing a Serif, it is marginally easier to read.

But I fear that the Harrumpf has passed me by. . . . .

Calibri Regular 11 pt - which appears to be the default for Word on iOS.

Times New Roman, 14 pt. Didn't have a preference until my editor at the time requested it. I was using whatever the default font for Word 2002 was prior to that. ( The version of Word I still use because I only use it as a second pass of grammar editing, and formatting for another site that chokes on anything not pasted from a Word document. No need to upgrade. ) Now I'm used to TNR and stick with it.

The first step of the editing process is to switch it to 16 pt. Verdana for the first full read. Useful trick to catch errors that are camouflaged by hiding within a familiar font and spacing of the text on the page. Once that step is complete, I put it all back in TNR.

Times New Roman 12-point, with half-inch margins all the way around the page. Seven Word pages comes out to almost exactly one full page on Lit. Handy if I want to hit that "sweet spot" of 3-5 Lit pages for a submission.
