Mine is Courier Final Draft (you can install it by installing demo version of Final Draft).

It's very clear, if slightly stark, monospaced font.

^^^ The novelist's font.

My stories compeletly change when I change the font.

I don't even think about it. I open up MS Word and it defaults to Calibri 11 point. It's something different when it's published.

God I miss MS Word 5.1a...

I used to consider myself a connoisseur of fonts - back in the days when using a new font required special software to add/remove fonts from your System... (Ok, I'm a Mac, not a PC...)

Courier.

Just had to open a document up to check. :)

Liberation Serif. It's the default in my LibreOffice installation. It's a fairly generic serif font, not much different from Times.

I'm team San Serif, because Serif fonts takes 0.15% more effort for your mind to comprehend. Totally made that up but can't be too careful 😁

My go to font is Bierstadt in Word, which is in fact San Serif, but I only use it because it shares the same name as my favorite landscape painter (Albert Bierstadt). I use it to pay homage. I'm sure he would be proud to know that his namesake (if that's what it is) is used to write colorful and dramatic smut.

As an aside, I make a point of changing font and font colour when editing my own stuff - because it looks just a little bit different it helps to highlight mistakes you might otherwise skip over. Reading aloud also extremely useful for this.

Times New Roman. But, there are sites that tell you what typeface works best for which genre. Or so they think! This is the suggestions from Indesign Skills...

That would make me nostalgic for my old Underwood typewriter.

It would also make me want to type "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy" over and over and over.

Oh, really, how much did you pay? I have my own whips, crops, restraints, and nice X-cross for you to cuddle with while I practice my technique. LOL  :p
I had a backpack full of coins that I was going to take to the supermarket. I paid her each time I wrote a line, lost track after around fifty pounds, when I got into the zone

So for a lot of pain, you'd pay a lot of moola, right? I can sure dish out the pain, baby.

I'm must keep repeating, I don't do that shit anymore. I don't do that shit any more. I don't do that shit...

Google Docs

Times Roman

Size 14

I also have the Google Doc zoomed at 120% on firefox. That size and zoom looks better for writing and it's easier to edit and catch typos.
