“There may be a giant revelation still to come,” Brooks wrote. “But as the Trump-Russia story has evolved, it is striking how little evidence there is that any underlying crime occurred – that there was any actual collusion between the Donald Trump campaign and the Russians. Everything seems to be leaking out of this administration, but so far the leaks about actual collusion are meagre.”

Then, the Washington Post published a major investigation that raised questions over whether Obama could have done more to stop Moscow’s interference in last year’s poll, quoting one former administration official as saying: “I feel like we sort of choked.”

“The real story is that President Obama did NOTHING after being informed in August about Russian meddling,” he tweeted. “With 4 months looking at Russia... under a magnifying glass, they have zero ‘tapes’ of T people colluding. There is no collusion & no obstruction. I should be given apology!”

“I said last summer to a bunch of liberal friends: ‘Your worst nightmare is not a Trump presidency; it’s a successful Trump presidency.’ The successful Trump presidency scenario is one in which, despite it all, the economy does better thanks to deregulation and tax cuts, foreign policy delivers some big wins on North Korea, the Middle East.

I'll just be grateful if he doesn't fuck it up too badly. There's some big ticket issues and I'm not seeing him playing the long game.

What do you see him doing?

Environmental regulation repeals.
Financial regulation repeals.
ACA repeal if he can.
Privatize social security - if the republicans can get the legislation together.
Massive tax cuts rubber stamped for the rich.
Appointing ignorant idiots to department/cabinet positions that don't even believe in the departments.
Courts - republicans have had a logjam on appointments under Obama. Remaking the court system under an ideology suited to a minority is not a good idea and will have massive repercussions for decades to come.

I'm quite concerned about his temperament and ignorance when dealing with foreign matters as well.

He's a perfect storm for serious problems. The risk is real.

I would love to read each & every program you've suggested Trump has advanced in your post.

Please be specific.

We all have things we'd love to see.

He's only been in office since January. The republican agenda isn't unknown.

The rest is just a matter of the realities in play.

I stated my concerns. Whether they happen or not is a matter of time.

Your concerns?

That explains everything.

A successful Trump presidency is one where he's not immediately convicted of a crime?

Excellent management of expectations.

Indeed. Yes concerns. As in the things that may be problematic based on the realities of the situation.

But of course, I'm sure that Breitbart reassures you every day that everything is just fine every time someone has to remove Donald's foot from his mouth or there's some new potential instability we face because of his ignorance. It's a good thing you have them so they can tell you what to think. :)

Is your avatar a picture of you?

If so, why are you using a picture that was taken 7/3/2009 @ 11:03 a.m.

Excellent management of expectations.

So is it your usual habit to save images and dig around for details?

You've got some serious time management issues.

As well as management of expectation issues.

It's fun busting frauds.

By the way, I forgot to add he used his Apple iPhone to take the picture.

If he doesnt run us aground it'll be a fucking miracle. That's as high as the bar can be set for that assclown.

Are you suggesting Trump will "run us aground?"

Is so, how will he do that?

Please be specific.

Funny.
OP is a C&P with no original thought by the OP and then many follow-ups of "be specific".

The only ignorance I see is your own. Without the usual leftist lies and talking points you're totally lost.

Oh you know, things like destroying our economy and sending us head long into recession. Those pesky things that happen under every single rebulican president that no one likes you talk about.
Or getting us into ill advised shooting wars that we have no business in.

You know, running a ship aground.
Are you really this fucking dense?

Please let us know when the economy is destroyed and the recession starts. Also let us know when you learn to spell repulican (sic).

Are you really that fucking dense?

Talking points aren't acceptable.

I'll bet this way:

Environmental regulation repeals.

Only to trigger better ones. Like he withdrew from Paris to force China - who is ze main environmental problem on the planet - to get on board.

Financial regulation repeals.

If he repeals the 1999 one that was forced down Clinton's throat in order not to get removed by the senate following impeachment, and which caused the financial scandals and crisis at the conclusion of Bush's term; then by all means.

ACA repeal if he can.

Was never meant to last. Whole thing was meant to wiggle thru over time an acceptable and better healthcare coverage than when Obama was elected.

Privatize social security - if the republicans can get the legislation together.

Not that easy.

Massive tax cuts rubber stamped for the rich.

Nope. Maybe for businesses to stimulate investments.

Appointing ignorant idiots to department/cabinet positions that don't even believe in the departments.

He already did his appointments. The whole idea of change is to do things different than what was previously believed.

Courts - republicans have had a logjam on appointments under Obama. Remaking the court system under an ideology suited to a minority is not a good idea and will have massive repercussions for decades to come.

The Right is more moral. Americans simply don't realize what's the true reasons behind their decline.

I'm quite concerned about his temperament and ignorance when dealing with foreign matters as well.

They are not up to him.

He's a perfect storm for serious problems. The risk is real.

He creates storms to solve them actually.

Examples:

Not releasing taxes; to make a point, and a good one. WH later released a return of his 2005 I believe.

Audio only press briefings, or only for press no eletronic media.

etc.

All this, is to reset things up. People are taking too many things for granted, not knowing they were never supposed to be this way. So, back to the basics it is. A reboot is in order.

A looksie a Peregrinator's 'Future Regrets ' and his bump-post of an old thread would give a good idea.
