Your to kind but I still don't like my voice, now how about you send me a voice file in return and I can hear what you sound like

I don't have a mic or I would most definitely. I've got to run to CompUSA later tonight to pick something up for a friend and I was thinking about buying one while I was there. Probably a cheap shitty crappy one for 10 bucks, but a mic all the same.

I DO Have an audio poetry submission somewhere on lit, if you feel the need to go listen to it.

I just listened to it again. I hate it more everytime. LOL

Good God, I've been to Florida three times in my entire life! And none of them were for more than a week.

Nope nope. I was born in Boston, Mass, and have lived in NY since I was about three or four. Maybe the twang is all that thuggish accent everyone I talk to from online says I have.

I've been told that I have a newscasters voice...not quite deep, but rich, with no regional accent to speak of.

The one downside is, I am wicked susceptible to other people's accents. If I go across the pond for two weeks, either a Cockney or a Liverpool accent just comes and mugs me and I'm stuck with it for MONTHS!

Even worse, if I go to a country like France or Italy, I bloody well sound like someone who doesn't speak English as my native language.

Grrrr!

Add me to the number of ladies who hate their voice. Pure, heavy, southern drawl. I even try to disquise it a little, but then I end up sounding like Pee Wee Herman..

I can't say there is anything especially nice about my voice. Others have told me they like it, I don't hear it myself. I have a slight accent, and my o's sound strange, like the people in the movie Fargo. Funny, as I'm Canadian
