Personally I like to have my partners shackled and secured in a position that allows me access to the entire body (4-points restraints in a doorway work well!), but sometimes just having front or back access is fine...

I took note of your earlier description and stated holding capacities of those 4-point restraints. I have added that project to my to-do list.

Sometimes I put my subbie with the hands in her back, the ends of the 5 fingers of left hand touching the end of the 5 fingers of the right hand....

Sorry to say but the picture just made me ummn smile . Based on the way her hair looks its fairly safe to say she is being blown against that door by an industrial fan.

Now there is a bondage 'idea' we don't come across everyday surely.

I don't find the picture 'hot' for the reasons above. To me its a contrived cheesecake attempt at portraying a bondage 'scene'. Though for full disclosure there are many more 'authentic styled ' staged pictures of bondage that would have the same lack of appeal to me.

As for the posters above that have expressed an interest in 'restraint with words alone' yessssssssssss now we are talking seriously evocative in an extremely positive manner.
