Your Story People Should Read First

Many times I've met new friends here on the AH, and they ask "I want to read some of your stories. Which one should I read first?"

There is one I have that I'm proud. It has not only wank value, but some personal growth on the parts of one of the characters. It's that one I recommend.

Everyone probably has one story that best introduces themselves as a writer. So, here's my idea. Add that story to your AH Directory listing. If you don't have a listing, click Add Your Own AH Directory Listing.

The line I've used as the header:

Honestly? It's been so long since I was actually able to finish anything, that I'm sort of dissatisfied with all of them.

Why not put one in, and change the recommendation every month?

I thought that I should be mean and use my: The Worst Chain Story Ever Chap. 01 but I decided that would be unkind.

Mine are all weird. Ghost and tentacle sex, incest, an impossible workout with sexercises. It's all weird.

I chose the beginning of my incest series. Most normal of the bunch.

Ahhh...I know that feeling. I've got so many stories sitting on the back burner that I barely know where to begin.

I do feel good about finally finishing W.I.E.A.S. though, with tons of help from 3, natch.

And I feel good about trimming up my sig line, which was slowly becoming bloated. I took Stella's suggestion in the Directory thread and moved a couple links into my listing.

I can't figure out which one to recommend. They are all quite different from one another.

It is interesting to see what others think is their best representational work or the one that they are proud of.

Starrkers, just for your info... here's a line from the Wikipedia entry on Kilgore Trout.

Thanks, babe, but fortunately or unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), that one won't be on Lit for much longer. It's in the second volume of Coming Together, and since we're legit and on paper and everything (yay!), I'll have to pull it shortly.
