This is the first chapter of a series I'm working on. The entire story is not non-erotic, but the first chapter sets the stage for the following chapters and I felt it fit into this category. Any opinions would be very welcome. Thank you.

Hi,

Well, I read the story and thoroughly enjoyed it - I'm looking forward very much to reading more and finding out what happens. The opening scenes were very descriptive and I found myself liking Michael and sharing in his pain (won't go into too much detail - don't want to put others off reading).

Even though it's "non-erotic" I still found it hot and voted a 5.

Very impressive

It's always refreshing to see someone actually taking the time to write proper characters and situations, rather than opting for the more usual droning, outre pornography. This site, after all, is called 'literotica': a composite, one assumes, of the words 'literature' and 'erotica'. This story, I think, aspires to both. The writing was subtle and skilful - like Janie, I empathised with the protagonist and then experienced a pleasing schadenfreude at the climax of the chapter. This was a sure sign that you engaged me at an emotional as well as an intellectual level. Incidentally, you write violence very well, which is by no means an easy thing to accomplish. I look forward to future instalments.

I feel the same way. I enjoy the stroke stories here but this is the kind of writing that I like to do. So I hope you enjoy the rest of it when it comes out. Thanks for your feedback.
