I just returned from a road trip where I was able to hit a very good Asian market. I brought my luggage in as well as an armload of shopping bags from various big-city stores. I was lounging, and was smelling beef jerky. Like my really good, homemade jerky. Couldn't figure out why. Thought maybe someone at the bunkhouse had cooked something recently.

Turns out- my good soy sauce had spilled in the bag.

I don't get the whole "bunkhouse" references you keep making. It sounds either very homoerotic, or very 1850's. Not that there's anything wrong with either... just kinda odd in the 21st century.

I know, right? I know. That...thing...is to an ordinary ham sandwich what the Saturn V rocket is to a catapult. You can see they are distantly related, but there are orders of magnitude there.

I think if I had one of these in a picnic I would send everyone else home. I'd want to spend the whole day getting to know it. Including its exciting fungal growths. I like mushrooms.
