Homemade BBQ beans with dilly cucumbers cooled overnight! Simple yet yummy.

When I make them, maybe I'll do both. It's one of those things that doesn't have a recipe, because she makes them like her dad did, and I make them like she did, and nothing was ever measured. I can try though.

I have taken some beef short ribs out of the freezer to thaw to be cooked this weekend.

For a certain amount of days during the year,
I will slice open lemons and gnaw on them as if they were grapefruit.
I was given a lemon, as a joke, when I was a tiny child.
All I knew is that it had two flavors, at that age.
I discovered a jar peperoncini (hot dried pepper seeds).
I ate them as if they were breakfast cereal.
I was told that I did not cry.
Two flavors- The taste of pepper, and the taste of hot.
I remember tears at the corner of my eyes.
I did not sob or bawl. I was busy tasting.
My Ogre Husband ate poisonous shoe polish.
The poison gave the polish the taste of almonds.
The manufacturers took the poison out, after many children died.
It was a corrosive poison.
