No, but I don't know how I'd fit my mouth over it. Plus, it's lacking onions, I don't think I could go without onions on my burger. Raw or carmelized, either/or.

You could eat it like my Swedish intern used to eat burgers. With a knife and fork. Knife in the right hand, fork in the left.

Yeah, I learned that in Germany too. Why waste time switching hands? If that be so, I'd stick fries in that sucker and really make a monster out of it. Maybe one burger patty though.

Coincidently, I am making burgers tonight.

Country style ribs, at my house.

Heh. Tons of fries! And I made buttermilk ranch from scratch. Plus, two teens are girls that eat like birds.

Well it's kinda hard to argue against spuds and home made ranch....

Damn I was gonna do tacos tonight but some taters n' turf sounds pretty good too.

Shit.....1st world problems.

You should move to Homer, we could discuss taco recipes.

I love roasted whole carrots. Not like over boiling them, the flavours are just concentrated if a bit over done.

I made brown sugar glazed parsnips. Then tried with ample syrup. Honey would work too.

The only thing wine is good for is cooking. Not many things easier than a red wine pan sauce. White for risotto. I get the cheap shit from the grocery store. Not like I am drinking it.

It's certainly still on the top of the list of things I'm going to do if CA doesn't deliver.

If I can't get a cool kid licence to make obnoxious amounts of money then the process of serious shopping/planning/getting the fuck out will begin in 2018.

I'm playing with green sauce recipes right now....well I'm starting on those tonight. (tacos won out over burgers)

I got some tomatillos, poblano, jalapeno, garlic, onions and a food processor.

Might have to thin it down a bit with some chicken stock but I have hopes of it turning out ok for a first time base line as I venture into green tacos.

I enjoyed a burger earlier this week, called 'The Ridiculous Burger'.

The thing was a monster - 1/3 pound patty, bacon, two types of sliced cheese, big dollop of caramelized onions, and a fried, sunny side egg, topped with a thick slice of beefsteak tomato and lettuce.

It was a messy beast and I could not finish it. I usually enjoy a few rings of thick, fresh red onions on a burger, but the caramelized onions on that burger were amazing, their sweetness perfectly at home with the sharp cheese, smokey bacon, and the meaty burger patty. There was something added to those onions that I couldn't put my finger on, and the chef would not reveal. Eaten on their own, they left a faint aftertaste that I can best describe as Dr. Pepperish.

And salsa too. You better have a cast iron butthole.

My wrinkle grommet is fine so far.

Thought much hotter than jalapeno and I'm liable to puke.

So it's gotta be like medium hot....no weapons grade stuff.

Time for me to go buy a case of condiments, and by that, I mean wine.

LOL

Yea the beer situation is looking grim, a trip into town might have to happen tomorrow.

Oh I really like the tomatillo concoctions. What kind of meat?

Chicken.

About to pick the birds, things get pretty messy and busy from here....

I'll be back later if I don't taco and beer coma first. :D

Little bland but good. Not as green as I had hoped, kinda just vanished into the chicken.

I'm going to change up the cheese options and bump the cumin content up a notch.
