Then go read them and add onto them.

Lots of old threads get bumped that way and it saves having lots of threads about the same thing and it means people who used to be here are remembered and still have value to add to the community.

Sometimes an old topic needs a fresh angle, but not always.

Wouldn't you like to think in a couple of years time people were reading, viewing and possibly learning and valuing your thoughts?

Oh I do, but see it is just a topic that arises here in various forms almost on a weekly basis so most have had something to say and as much as most like to help, we are not here to cater to the needs of everyone who wanders in and demands it. If you look at those threads, and do the browse I suggested, I think apart from you and a couple of others, you will find most of those here (not to mention some who have a wealth of experience to share from the past) have posted even as recently as last week. Add to that, it happens quite often that people add onto threads already in existence otherwise we would have to begin culling threads simply because the board would be overloaded with threads of a few posts but all on the same topic. Bottom line is we cannot afford to begin a thread every day/week on your favourite toy etc. and why?....doesn't make sense on a board that moves at the pace this one does.

As you want only the most up to date information you might try this which was started in June and posted to last on the 27th of June, or this which was started January 2005 and last posted to 25th June, or this which was started June 18th and last posted to 25th june 2005, or this which was another June 2005 thread, or this which was started in May 2005 and continued into June, or this which was April thru mid-May, or this which was another June thread, and these are not including those specifically related to male subs and/or things such as fisting. They may not be posted to today, but hey, as I said we can't run the same thread topic everyday of the year incase someone missed it. Please let us know how you go and what YOU decide is a must have for you today.

Not interested in your challenge and my reference to the speed of getting your site up and running had nothing to do with your internet expertise but rather the fact that most who enter the lifestyle do not look at constructing a site as a priority, especially from day one of their supposed life in training, unless they are focused on it to make money, not so much simply D/s. I have actually never known anyone here or elsewhere who had the time to even consider it as they were usually too busy finding out what was expected, what worked for them, where it was going, working on serving to the best of their ability or commanding the one who served them etc.

As to the threads, if you read here you would see I and others often link people to threads because it can be impossible to find if you don't know what you are looking for and as I have been here 3 years, and have a good memory, and am moderator, I have an idea of where and what to look for....consider it part of the service. I hope you do get a lot of responses seeing as you are not inclined to read threads that are even a week or 2 old. Sheesh, silly me, I have been 24/7 for 3 years and still read threads that were written even before then, and find value in them and the wisdom and experience shared. I think you are more relaxed with me now and with one further explanation will see the truth. I used to be a journalist. A lot of what I did was write blog entries for my paper (probably cannot diclose its name on this forum). So I am well used to writing blogs and, believe it or not, SWB takes up about 30 mins to 1 hour of my day. One final thing to note, it is under Master's instruction that I even keep a blog. He things it will be a catharsis for me, an outlet, and he also wants me to be as open about my life as possible. I am NOT an open person usually. If I seem open here, or on my blog, it is because I am COMMANDED to be so by my Master.

As far as the threads go, I an see your point. It might be irritating when people as the same question. What you must understand I did not realise the trouble it would cause. My Master keeps me very busy throughout the day and most of the time I just do not have the time for anything but him. i can certainly attest to that! The stainless steel has always been a cherished toy in my book!
