Just randomly curious as to everyones preferred brand of rum. Personally I'm a Captain Morgan Spiced Rum fan myself. However, having had the local stuff in Caribbean, I can say I've never tasted anything else quite as good :D

Since I never drink the stuff straight, any dark will do. Making 'hot buttered' out of the prime Caribbean would be like cooking with Chateau Mouton!

The only way I can drink rum is in a daquiri....then it has to be Bacardi 151, and it HAS to be in a fresh strawberry daquiri.

Kinda odd...I can't stand Rum...and I hate strawberries. But I love strawberry daquiris with 151.

Go figure...

Clear Barracuda is a permanent part of my stash.

For everyday drinking Bundy's always a fave.
But way back in the 80s it was Red Dot Inner Circle OP Rum...feuerwasser in extremis!

Bermudez 1852 Anejo Selecto

room temp in a snifter.... fucking yeah howdy... beats the shit out of even really good cognac.

Appleton for me. So smoooooooooth that you can drink it straight.

Sailor Jerry

90 proof with delicious hints of cherry and vanilla, its how i got through last christmas with family in connecticut

Bacardi Limon or Caption Morgan's Coconut Rum. THough that spiced rum sounds damn good.

I'll drink any rum that someone else pours or buys for me. As long as it's good!

I have yet to find a rum I can't drink down straight. I've surprised a few men at being able to drink it without gagging or whatever. Rum just goes down smooth for me no matter what.

So, you're the guy who left that bottle in my flower bed a couple months ago! I catch you ... you're DEAD MEAT! :D

I'm so clueless I didn't even know Capt. Morgan was RUM! (and I was too angry to read the bottle in detail.)

Personally, being such a rum connoiseur, I like whatever they put in my hot buttered rum, and my new favorite: mojito! Mmmm ...

I'm excited over a drink at 10am, am I becoming a lush?

Captain Morgan's didn't exist when I quit drinking 30 years ago. During my Rum phase, my preferred poison was Bacardi Silver label and Coca Cola mixed 4:1 coke to Bacardi and it represented a good portion of my caloric intake for the day.

Royal Navy neat rum (not the diluted grog served to the matelots).

A large sip of that and who cares if the French fleet have outnumbered us ten to one?

Give me another sip and I'll spit cannonballs at them!
