Everyone tells me how young I look. How beautiful I am. How wonderful a complexion I have. How I have such a beautiful smile and eyes.....*sigh*


I swear....I just don't see it

I've been told that I have extremely naughty eyes, by enough people for me to remember that I've been told that, otherwise, I can't think of anything.

I get compliments on my skin. It has always been blemish free and an ivory tone. Also on my eyes, been told I have "bedroom eyes".

uhm.....my daughters are fascinated w/ the little mole above my left eye....it makes a very straight diagonal line w/ one near my collarbone and the one just above my tattoo...and they're all the same size too. THAT is what I find interesting about myself.

Men that are from some carribean islands...but mostly jamaican men, almost always make a complimentary comment about the gap between my two front teeth....I THINK they think it means something sexual...funky wives take type of stuff I guess.

What do people tell you about it? Do they notice a certain feature? Do you hear a certain compliment frequently? What do other people notice about it, that you might not pay much attention to?

I think my face is simple , nothing eye catching at least in my eyes.


One feature people tend to comment is on a beauty mark , I have had strangers come up to me and touch it and make one comment or another ... a taxi driver once told me that sort of mark is considered to be lucky and that I must beware of certain men, I think he was high or some thing but he went on and on about the mark on my face. I also had women come up to me in the restroom and make comments about it, also telling me the good luck thing and stuff.

And, the one thing that gets complimented a lot would be the shape of my mouth. I have been told its like a shaped like a bow and others have told me it's the perfect shape ... etc.. etc...

I honestly don't see it, I think my lips are a little to big.

I used to have the gap between my front teeth, then braces 'fixed it'. As I get older, it's coming back and men do find it sexy...

People say i look like i have a sunburn or i have been drinking because my face is red and sometimes it is blotchy with little pimples.

I have Rosacea and i either have a red face or it sheds skin so much as long as i put this cream on my face it just looks like a sunburn.

But i am told that i have sexy eyes.

I also have some rosacea on my cheeks and get the "looks like someone has been out in the sun" comment quite a bit at work (does not help that I blush easily and stress makes it worse). One of these days I will start telling everybody that I have been picking coconuts in the North Pole.

By the way George....not sure if I have told you this or not.........I love the kitten pic in your posts!!!

Hi Curious... I usually have a red nose, due to the fact, between the two places I live, the nose is one place that always gets sunburned. LOL I tan a dark brown. With almost 9 months out of the year being sunny and dry, does not help.

Of course, I'm a smile whore...but I do have standards. It has to be a genuine smile...impish, sweet, congenial...those are the ones that melt me and they draw me...like a moth to a candle flame...sigh
