Your Dirtiest Story

Dirtiest one I have written would be "Tryst of Fate" but it's no longer posted here.

Dirtiest one I have here is "Ransom of Red Pussy".

I keep trying to come up with one. I'm thinking when you say dirty you're talking a stroky type piece and I don't write much in that vein. I write hardcore sex, but usually with some build up/conflict first.

I have to say the one I'm writing now will end up being the winner title says it all. "Gloryhole Housewives."

Here....maybe Bound for my daddy.

Maybe, but you'd have a time topping - or bottoming - the one I linked. A combination of lesbian action, eating pussy, incest and featuring a girl pegging her father.

Probably "Taste the Rainbow". Multi-girl femdom, edging/orgasm denial, face-sitting, interracial, and simple bondage. ( handcuffs )

The Adam series as LesLumens probably takes the cake in that name. ( multiple family member incest with almost no emotional component ) But, I'm assuming this is about single stories, and Adam was always a multi-part story, even before it became a trilogy of them.

As Dark, it's "Danica". There's virtually no dark alley that story doesn't walk into. Again, it was always multi-part, so I'm assuming it doesn't count for the intended criteria of the thread.

A couple of the later chapters of the first thing I submitted here, the Natalie stories, are really dark and awfully nasty and far too dirty for Laurel.

Laurel definitely has standards, and some of them are well known and others are a bit vague, such as rape type stories and some fetishes.

I don't feel like I write dirty stuff either. I set out to write dirty, but I end up with what I call romantic drivel.

I write stories where the people just so happen to have sex, but honestly I think you could remove the sex scenes from the stories and they would still be decent stories.
Like someone else said, I don't write strokers.

I would suggest my dirtiest story would probably be Coed Blowjob Buddies. There's little redeeming qualities to it. At its heart, it's two girls sucking multiple dicks together at a gloryhole and little more.

Equally, I would suggest my story Luck of the Draw as being dirty since it has little redeeming qualities.

If an established author submitted a story that was too dirty, could it damage their brand?

For example, if an author who normally wrote fluffy, feel-good stories in Erotic Couplings, Romance and Lesbian submitted a hardcore Fetish story, could this be a bad thing?

It probably depends upon how invested the fans are to what the author has been writing, and whether it's a one-off or a complete shift away from the previous type of story.

The easiest means of damage control would be to hold onto that hardcore story until you're ready to release something in your normal style, then put them both in the queue at the same time. They should come out on the same day.

The regulars get their dose of what they expect, you open yourself up to a new set of eyes with the hardcore story, and the regulars get a hint that you may post a few things outside what they've come to expect.

Dirtiest of all time...it would have to be I Married a Slut. It's not up here anymore and it's a novella length story, but in my mind it's dirty.

The dirtiest one I have up at Lit, has to be Sloppy Seconds.

I don't think so. The author might surprise or shock a few of their regular readers, but I believe most regular readers would quickly realize it's a different kind of story and make their choice to read or abandon it based on their personal preferences.

Like many, my Lit library includes a broad mix of differing genres and writing styles. While some readers seem to enjoy reading different genres, I'm reasonably sure I have MMF fans who don't bother with my incest stories and vice versa.

Like a lot of things its hard to tell if it matters or not. Short of getting a comment of "I used to follow you, but after this sick shit..." you don't know.

A lot of authors use multiple pen names to keep things separate. Maybe writing romance and as you said more fun fluff pieces under one name then using another for non con or incest of gang bang stories.

I have everything under one name and its a a mix. Most is incest, but I've written several in mature and group and LW and one a piece in a few other categories. I've thought of your point in the case of I have three romantic stories that are nothing like my other work and whenever someone comments on one with "Can't wait to read the rest of your stuff" I think...."You may change your mind"

Understand readers are fickle and it can take the littlest thing to turn them off to you so I don't think its worth fretting over. Its not like they can't see the category of the story. If you liked one of my romances and look at my other stories you can see incest and BDSM etc...you don't have to click them.

I recently received a comment of "How can someone who wrote Naked Beneath write this utter filth?" How? Because I like to write different things and that 'filth' was to others a fun read.

So I suppose it matters to an extent, but personally I don't see it being enough of an issue to create other names. Others feel differently. Have to find you own way with it, like most other things here.

I get away with that as LesLumens. I'm running about 1/3 Incest, 1/3 Romance, and 1/3 stroke-heavy other. Of course, that mix was established early on, so there was no large build-up of one type of story at first.

I don't think moral disconnect is so much an issue as long as you don't push the edge with mixing the stronger squicks into other categories very often. Keep the incest, non-con, GM, etc. in their categories, and you should be fine. It may limit the number of people willing to list you as a favorite author, but I don't think it affects your overall readership.

As I said earlier ( in another pen name, I believe ) holding the first possibly squicky story and releasing it at the same time as your more usual fare would probably help smooth out the transition.

I think the only exception would be if you wrote lovey-dovey romance for a living; then associating "squick" content (e.g. incest, noncon, watersports, etc.) with that pen name might isolate readers who feel that there's a moral disconnect.

new writer

I just got on here today and wrote my first story,. Its called truth or dare. Id love some feedback once its published.

Mostly, I write stories of affectionate sex among people who like each other. When I turn out something in BDSM or something like the Undertaker story, I usually include a warning that it is not my usual output. I warn about squick, not raunch. As far as the latter goes, the more there is, the more I like to write it. :)

My dirtiest story, well I only have four done sofar. It's probably tame compared to some others, but I would have to say Rebirth (Reworked) I tried to include a variety of sex and a lot of it.

I can't write dirty. I've tried, but it always ends up fluffy and sprinkled with glitter.
