Your cure for boredom..

Yeeaarrss ago, you could go into yahoo chat. I think msn had something too. After years of getting a life and generally being a busy cat, I return to the net as a bored fella, and don't know what to do. What I'd like is to just chill and talk to someone. Flirt a little...talk a little...discuss psychology. Whatever. What I'm finding is nothing. I keep putting weird things into search engines...trying to find something to amuse me. I've looked up everything from women humping dogs(or vise versa) to info on the new Superman movie.
I've looked up my favourite writers, attemptedto find message boards with people awake with inquisitive minds, music,drugs,travel,the artsof seduction...

It's all like walking into an empty room after the party's over, ya know?
What do you do? What do you look up? Do you talk to people? where do you find them?

Just curious...of course, everyone may already be asleep here as well...

Thank you all, but where are these suggestions after a night of insomnia and you can say "no, nope, try again" because by that time,literotica is not the end all to be all. there is ZERO movement of the boards

i always find somebody to talk to on lit, cause we're all from different time zones. if everyones asleep in one country, there's bound to be someone awake in another.

I stay mostly here as there are lots of people to talk to here and on Yahoo. I also go to grab.com and slingo.com to play games. And, if you like listening to music, pandora.com is great! You can create your own stations that play what genre of music you like. I've found some groups that I might not have heard on mainstream ones like Yahoo's Music Launch. Love that pic, by the way.

If you are really bored then do soemthing, the internet won't cure boredom, get out meet folks explore shit, I don't honestly care but find something that isn't boring to do and do it. If you can't get out, get a pastime you enjoy, read books, write ideas, let the mind wander. The only reason to be truly bored is lack of imagination.

Very good points. I was just thinking about the internet. For instance, I love taking photos. I carry a camera everywhere. Sounds like you need to explore your insterests, broaden your horizon.

Good point, but I think that was my problem to begin with. The state I was in didn't want to be participating. I was stoned or depressed, I dunno. Reading a book was out of the question. I wanted to be engaged by another mind(s), ya know? Something to break the isolation...mind you, I've since found a mind-engager, and she's quite lovely, but I think this, and many of these other posts were what I was after. Simple banter.

At the moment if I'm bored and online I googlevideo words, just a fad for a bit though. Play games. Learn stuff that I don't know about things I know nothing about.
Offline it's reading, music. Or walking in the countryside, but Im lucky with where I live for that.

Not possessive in a bad way, though I'm sure she could bitch slap a ho with the best of em, but possessive like a little girl that wants all of Daddy'sattention for her own. So fucking drinkable. So yeah, she might mind.....she so willingly slides onto her back and exposes her soft belly skin for me with a look. Perfect.
