Surely that applies only to characters involved in sex? I seem to recall a number with ancillary characters much younger (e.g. couples with young children who might wake if too much noise is made, etc.)

For the last time (hopefully), stories with characters under 18 ARE NOT ILLEGAL - Literotica bans then by CHOICE.. NOT BY LAW!!! How many times does this have to be said??

No site was ever shut down purely for having stories of that kind. They had something else illegal, such as pictures. Rape stories, incest stories, and in some states gay/lesbian stores or anal stories wouldn't be allowed if WRITING (free speech) followed the laws for pictures and real life.

Despite the "debate" at Lit about Freedom of Speech "verses" Kiddie Porn in any form.....Bottom Line.....Everyone here is entitled to their opinion. That means if Emerald thinks Always is a "freak", it's her perogative. If Always thought Emerald was a "bitch" (not saying he said that, so don't break out in a NEW fight, please), that would be his perogative.


We've all debated Kiddie Porn here and "IF" jacking off to a teen or young child is a "legal right" or not in written form. We're never going to "agree" on this topic. However, it is AGAINST the RULES of Literotica.com to have such stories HERE. Can't everyone finally ACCEPT that?? If you want kiddie porn, go to another site. Yeah that's real well said, except that no one on this thread said anything about posting underage stories here at Lit, that i can see. A guy asked for a place to find such a story and someone else told him where he could find one. Didn't see anybody say Lit was wrong not to post them here.

I was browsing sites looking for Erotic Stories and found LIT. I was pleased to see it didn't have any underage stories. Thats why I have made it my favorite place to read. PLus the people here are great to!

I can understand your concern about that as a parent. And i'm glad the stories aren't here at Lit, just because that way i can come here without worrying about somebody knocking at my door. I suppose as a mother, you will never stop worrying but as a practical issue, think of how many activities we enjoy seeing in movies, tv and in these stories we read/right here at Lit. Many of them are quite graphic and certainly EVERYONE writing/reading that stuff can't actually be into doing it. I can't prove it but i suspect the real pedophiles are out looking at pictures and trying to lure kids with candy. Like i said, no proof of that, however.

Well the stories I am interested in reading are ones I actually fantasize about. I enjoy reading about things that turn me on. Everything that turns me on is legal.

I don't think someone is asking for these underage stories , and not fantasizing about these acts.

There are states in the USA (without looking elsewhere) where incest is illegal - does incest turn you on?
where sodomy is illegal - does sodomy turn you on?
where oral sex is defined as sodomy and is illegal - does oral sex turn you on?
where sex between two persons of the same gender is illegal - does gay or lesbian sex turn you on?
where sex between two persons of opposite gender who are not legally married to each other is illegal - does sex only turn you on if it is between married couples?
I hold no brief for paedophiles, and especially pederasts, but almost everything is illegal somewhere, and all other illegal acts seem permissible in the USA literature sites.
What is so much worse about two seventeen year old students having willing sex, as opposed to the forcible rape of an eighteen year old by her father?
