Anyone knows what happened to this author? YouDareMe? He (or she) had a great 4 part family incest story going on, and now seem to have withdraw all of his stories from his account...

Too bad, I was REALLY looking forward to his 5th installment...

Thank you, I know about his/hers profile, but all of his/hers stories are gone...he/she had 4 Incest stories which I fully enjoyed...

You might check archival sites if you remember the titles of the stories or unique details of the stories like character names, locations, etc.

Those were stories only a few years old, two or max three years, I doubt they would get archived so soon. I think the title was "Family Lake" or such...

If an author, for whatever reason, has chosen to remove their work, I think it's not done to suggest ways to circumvent their decision. In particular on something like the Author's Forum, one would expect a bit more support for the author's decisions.

This comes up a lot in looking for a story and the feedback mod-LFAS is a sub forum of feedback- made a rule that links to the wayback and other archived sites isn't permitted. People have to do it through PM.

Alwayswantedto is one of the most sought after and the fact he removed his work because he was terminal and didn't ever want his family finding his work makes it worse to me that people are so eager to try and dig them up. I once mentioned I have two of his stories that he sent me for a proposed anthology that I didn't get a chance to put together and once he passed I would never post it because I think even though he gave me permission it would be sleazy.

I received several PM"s asking me if I'd send them the stories and I said no and explained why. Most were okay, two got extremely nasty with me.

Yes, that's the one! The one with the "bubbles"! I agree for the most part with you about author nearly completing things, but I was looking forward to reading dad/daughter development, plus a group finish.

This is why I always make a permanent copy of every story I read. In my mind.

Removing stories from here doesn't automatically get them removed from an archive. Many authors here wouldn't be aware that Wayback stores a record of their stories, and even for those who know of it and think to request deletion, Wayback doesn't promise to comply: https://help.archive.org/help/how-do-i-request-to-remove-something-from-archive-org/

At the least, I expect they'd want some evidence that the person making the request really is the owner of the stories. For many authors publishing under pseudonyms that would be difficult to provide.
