I know that the nation of Zimbabwe isn’t on many people’s minds. You might remember the nation when it was called Rhodesia. When Zimbabwe was Rhodesia it was called the breadbasket of Africa. There were thousands of farms in Rhodesia that were and had been farmed by white families for over 100 years. The bustling economy, well paying farm jobs and high standard of living created by the natives of Rhodesia started attracting Africans from throughout the continent. Soon black African immigrants were an overwhelming majority of Rhodesian citizens. Exit Rhodesia. Enter Zimbabwe – and now former communist guerrilla Robert Mugabe.

Mugabe has been engaged in his own personal form of ethnic cleansing in Zimbabwe for some time now. His goons have been murdering white farmers who refused to leave their lands. He recently signed legislation, if that’s what you want to call it, which mandates the confiscation of all white-owned farms in Zimbabwe and the redistribution of these lands to black Africans. Zimbabwe is on the edge of famine. Citizens are starving. No longer is Zimbabwe the breadbasket of Africa. As of midnight yesterday whites are no longer permitted to set foot on their farmland. Crops are left in the fields to die. These white farmers can’t even step onto their farmland to provide feed and water to their cattle. The evil whites now have 44 days to turn over their property, all of it, to Mugabe’s goons.

You haven’t heard about all of this, you say? You wonder where the banner headlines are? You wonder where the outrage is?

Sorry --- blacks kicking whites off their land just doesn’t meet the basic standards for world media outrage. However … if the colors were reversed ….

A country that not only fed itself but EXPORTED food to other countrys will soon be asking for handouts because of all the starving people. So true its always someone elses fault, bet its those evil whities that are being forced to leave thier farms or die.

I don't believe, by the way, that whites have ever been a majority in Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, as you appear to imply. And those whites weren't "natives"--Rhodesia was a colony.

No one said they were the majority. And while there has been some reporting of the situation, it hasnt gotten the attention it deserves. I find it amazing that there is no out cry from the usual suspects. Reverse the roles and see what would happen. Let them starve.

If it were black farmers being forced off thier farms and killed when they didn't by whites it would be on every news broadcast every 5 minutes

and every one would be screaming racism and jumping up and down so hard they would be wetting thier pants

but its just whites being killed so it doesn't matter, its just whites being froced from thier lands and livelihood so it doesn't matter
