Had a 911 years ago as well as a 944s, did look at a 911 cabriolet before the M3
but I actually like the M3 better. Better road feel, more fun to drive plus can put the kids in the seat when I have them.
The newer 911's are very sterile feeling, not much road feel, my last one was an 80's car and if you didn't respect it you went of the road.

Some day I will have a Porsche. Right now it would take me three years to make enough to buy the one I want. And I'm not in poverty!
 
I've heard really good things about the 944's. Are they fun? What would a 944 in reasonable condition in standard with a sunroof cost?

What you need to know is buying is one thing, maintaining it is a whole new story.
A head light for my car is 900! An oil change is 150 for the M3.
A friend of mine has a 911 cab turbo that is a year old with 900 miles, he leased it and when it comes off in two years I have considered buying that.
Though what for I don't know. I live just outside of NYC and there is no where to drive. The roads are congested, in bad shape and full of police. I'm one point away from losing my license as it is! And as I said the M3 is a very fast car, handles like it's on rails and is a car I really like. Even with this I probably drive it less than 2000 miles a year unless I find a road trip to go on. Sort of a waste but when I do drive it I am reminded of why I bought in the first place!
My next adventure is a sailboat, something I can live on if I want to.
Do you swim? :)

I love swimming! My mom says I learned to swim before I learned to walk. When she took me to swimming lessons I refused to get out of the pool, she had to jump in and get me. I love the water. I am no expert swimmer but it's where I feel the best.

I really don't know. I'm not a squeamish person. I actually like cleaning fish. I've held a guy's head together after a bike accident. (Dumbass coworker. He was a dipshit before the accident but the brain damage didn't help)

I didn't eat any meat other than the fish that I caught for seven years. I think catching/killing your own food is the most ethical way to eat. I think I could do it. I don't think I would enjoy sport hunting but hunting for food I think I could do.

Oh and I'll do most of the tying of things if they need to be tied up that is :kiss:

Catching wind is the easy part, sailing or any boating is about making repairs and that part I'm good with :)

No I can do without tying or being tied. And if you like it on top I'm sure we can find a great compromise :)

Skills of course. But I'm afraid I might have a few traits that would eliminate me from the man competition here. I hate beer and I enjoy indoor plumbing. :rolleyes:
