Or the metal oil can that you punctured with the pour spout.

Or when a Coke (Coca Cola) was a nickel.

Or gasoline was 21.9 cents/gallon.

The introduction of filtered and menthol cigarettes.

thanks for the memories, but you also know you're getting old when you know bob barker did a show before price is right.
You mean "Truth or Consequences"?

I know for most of us here this is going to be a "Yeah? That isn't very old" but..

Today at work we were talking about songs stuck in our head.. I brought up the theme from Airwolf was stuck in mine (The Senators played it after their game 4 victory)

My 17 year old co-worker then looked at me with a confused as possible face and asked:

"What's Airwolf?"

"You know, that kick ass chopper.. Flew out of a big volcano type cavern.. Went into silent mode and went 'whooo whooo' as they crept up on bad guys?"

"Not a clue what you're talking about.. That's before my time."

*sigh* And I'm only 24.. I'm starting to date myself at the age of freekin 24!

It's all downhill from here isn't it? I can just see it now in about ten years or so:

"Ya know I remember a time when hitting 50 home runs was a big deal"

"Whatever dad.. Face facts... He only hit 63 this season.. Thats WAY below average."

lol...lion

i dated a 21yo girl when i was 37 myself....

we listened to the radio while driving and one of those boy groups started to sing "words".
She said "i really love this tune" and i replied like "i do love the original one from Bee Gees".
Do i really have to say here how old i felt after hearing her "who the heck are the Bee Gees?"
