You know, I do love it when the weather gets warmer, but one thing I really hate is:

I had forgotten how annoying that stupid tune that he plays over and over again is. I have now been hearing it outside of my house for the past 5 minutes.

I agree. When my 13 year old was a little one, we lived in an apartment. As soon as he heard the familiar tune, he would get so excited, he'd start dancing!
Out here in the sticks, there are no ice cream trucks.

Ya know, it wouldn't be so bad, but they are soooo expensive. The price of 2 frozen treats and you can buy a whole box from the store.

I think I'd rather have none than overkill. There's practically one on every corner here. When I first moved to Queens, it brought back wonderful memories from growing up in the suburbs.

Now I feel like I can't turn around without one being right there.

We get about 3 trucks per day. They start precisely at supper time and continue patrolling til 9 or 10 at night.
