"You can Pick me up at Amazon,Now."

Awesome feeling, innit? Seeing your work offered for sale by a major distributor is as good as that first contract. Better, in some ways.

Congratulations, Ms. Blisse.

(Nice cover, BTW!)

so very proud of you and your accomplishments.
always so happy to see "one of our own" out there in mainstream!
congrats beautiful.:rose:

Sweet!

Classy cover BTW. Not at all as Harlequin tacky as many erotic books are. :)

Oh yeah, EL on Amazon. Some one should have thought of this long ago. ;) :D

Congrats dear lady. :rose:

You do realise what you've just asked don't you? Okay, you asked for it.

In 1998 I met my now husband, he introduced me to the joy of erotic fiction and literotica and encouraged me to write my own. Hence my being here and writing, submitting, chatting on the AH etc.

Forward to late summer 2006 when Imp posts a Phaze call for submissions including a line of heatsheets (short stories) called Snugglers. I had a Christmassy story I thought would fit that had already been through an editor (the ever patient Rumply  ) So I checked it through, wrote a cover letter and sent it off on the day before the deadline.

A few days later I get an email saying it's been accepted and in November I have my first eBook release which was followed by another 3 in 2007 and a couple of anthologies over Christmas 07 and new year '08.

Sometime around September last year (I think) I was emailing my publisher about something or other when as a throw away comment she mentions a plan to put 4 of my stories in to a print anthology.

And now, that print anthology is available to buy, I've got about 5 more titles due for release this year that include one for an english publisher Total e-bound.

That's about it I think :D

wow....( sits here thinking about it letting it sink in) Just wow. You've got balls missy. Being a published author is a dream of mine. The writing is no problem. I just wonder how to produce Good writing.

This Phaze thing. Are they a publisher? a contest organizer, or what?

Have you ever done NaNoWriMo? Last year was my first year which kicked off this love of writing. I have these ideas kicking around in my head. I need to get them down on paper.

... Getting to the point.. Once i have a piece of fiction that I would like to publish, where do I go from there?

Phaze are a publisher, mostly they do eBooks but they do do print as well. They're great lots of AHer's are with'em :)

I've done NaNoWriMo 4 times now I think and my story from year three is due out later this year with Phaze. (it's nowhere near 50K in length. I didn't finish that year'cos my sotry ran out at about 25/30k )

And once you're ready you just gotta keep your eyes peeled for opportunities.
