You aren't getting paid to sit on your ass!

I saw that earlier this morning.

If you want a lot of government to protect you, you just have to accept some inefficiencies.

And "everyone" knows some means very little. A minority. You cannot judge the whole on just a few individuals.

;) ;)

The government civilian workforce (not including the Postal workers) is right at 2.1 million employees. So 17,700 workers/yr being charged with one violation or another really isn't that large a percentage of the workforce. What is over the top is the use of the 'paid administrative leave' which is at the discretion of the administrators to the tune of $775 million. Why these cases aren't/can't be dealt with in a timely manner is beyond my ken.

I think we know the answer.

There is nothing akin to a market force in play. We have been taught, with brutal clarity over the last two years that government workers answer to nobody and it is clearly a top-down problem. They are there to micromanage our business, but how they conduct themselves is absolutely none of our business.

Dude, they micro-manage each other as well. That was the primary reason I left Los Alamos. Great pay, great benefits, and a suffocating work environment.

;)

Of that, I have no doubt. Clearly government attracts just the sort of worker that it wishes to employ...

Do these sweeping generalizations include the Marines?

Well, first of all petey the subject is the civilian workforce. Secondly, military justice is swift, usually within hours of the infraction for minor offenses (Article 15 types).

He doesn't know anything more about the military than what he just posted.

Anytime government is faulted, a Liberal has to invoke the name of the military.

They are all paid with my tax dollars.

Frame it however you need to. The work done in Los Alamos supplied the military with its toys and the administrations with the muscle. Those are lazy government civilian wasteful sons of bitches. The Marines are the backbone that made this great country what it is today.

Ha.

Off to work . . . to get paid for sitting on my ass.

I tried driving while standing, but it doesn't work very well.

You are a fool.

You are a tool.

This is why government on the civilian side is so arrogant. They know that when attacked, the Liberals will drag the military into the discussion in order to take the focus off of their government, which is more than happy to target and punish that part of the population that supplies the members of the military to make sure that they are handicapped at election time.

You are the kith and kin of people like Lois Lerner.

Yeah. I did that.

Yes.

You enabled it.

You enable it every time you engage in defending government waste by attacking the people devoted to protecting your right to be a tool.

People that worked along side of me in the nuclear world are dropping like flies. They gave their health and lives to defending America. No different than any other life.

But they are lazy sons of bitches. They are on paid admin. They are the leeches that make your country such a pile of shit.

You are a fool. A tool have function and purpose. You have neither.

Have a good day at the Quickie Mart. Get the shitter cleaned. I may have to take a dump after I fill my tank.

If it were not from the profligate spending of the military-industrial complex, you wouldn't have a career.

You are one myopic tool.

You aren't even talking about the people mentioned in the article, but now are engaging in the fallacy of the unassailable victim in order to protect government inefficiency and waste.

Maybe you should be a little less predictable with the knee-jerk reactions.

Your alt Frodo too...

Let's take it a step further....

AJ and Ishmael aren't getting paid. Period.

They're more than content to mooch of the government (Ishmael) and their hard-workin' primary breadwinner squaw (AJ) respectively.

Gives them both more time to lecture others on the dignity of bootstrappy "self-sufficiency".
