Y'know, I've been wondering is "slut" sexy?

When you think of a slut, male/female/whatever, do you think of this person as sexy? I don't mean in the I get to bone-her way of sexy, but the sexy that lasts all the time.

Please define what you think a slut is. Then explain why or why not this definition is sexy on a person regularly. If this is only attractive every once in a while, please say why or why not.

Personally, I don't think of slut as sexy other than in the full flush of I'm horny and I don't have anything else to fuck. Slut is a negative term and is used with negative sexual behaviors. I don't think someone who is promiscuous is a slut, but I do think that someone who uses sexual behaviors or mannerisms inappropriately, eg masturbating in a public place where everyone can see everything or wearing a see through blouse to church.

It only just occurred to me after watching you cat around in your stillettos and crushed velvet leisure suit. You're such a man-slut. It turns me on, baby. But only for a couplea hours a day.

I think of a slut as being 'nasty' in a sexual way. Not an all the time thing either. Someone who would be a 'slut' all the time is more the whore than a slut.

A person who can act llike or even be a slut in certain situations is sexy. A person who is or acts like a slut all the time is not sexy. That is a strange way to look at it I suppose, but for me a woman who can act like a slut for her man for instance, (and only for her man BTW) is a sexy and very open woman.

I have written some stories that may not show this, but as an author I envision other things in life, gathered from real life tales from real individuals, sometimes not pretty at all.

Women have a special place in my heart since I was the youngest of four and all three of my older siblings were girls.

I wholeheartedly agree with that right there. Slutty can be sexy, but only in certain situations, and with a certain person. I even agree with that last comment, except i'm the youngest of three and have two older sisters.

I find slut a negative word. When I see someone that I have decided to label slut, it is always in derision.

If I am going down on my man and he is looking me in the eye with a smile and says, "You slut," I take that as a compliment and think of it positively.

Interesting question, Muff.

I think of the term slut to describe a woman who is sexually adventurous and open. In my mind, it's not about promiscuity at all.

I think what's appealing about "slutty" behavior is that it denotes that a person would be easy to sleep with.

"Sexy" is different from "slutty". A "sexy" person excites you not by the promise of easy sex, but by their attitude, the way they carry themselves, the look in their eyes, their body language, whatever. A person who is "sexy" can also seem not easily attainable - in fact, that can sometimes make a person more appealing.

A "slutty" person is someone who seems to be easily attainable. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. Some people enjoy more partners than others because that's their lifestyle. So long as their doing it because they enjoy it, and not because they think they can impress people with sex, I think it's great. More power to them.

A person can be "sexy" and "slutty", but they can also be either/or.

I prefer "sexy" personally.

I'm weird. I've always seen it differently. I've known women in my life who others described as "slutty" - not because they women were particularly adventurous, but because they slept around a lot. I have one friend who is always with a different guy, but she's surprisingly uptight. She's never had anal sex, for example (that's "icky') and would never consider any kind of kink.

Help me, help me! I'm being oppressed.

I prefer slut, defined as "a person who enjoys sex".

Please don't shoot me for disagreeing, Laurel.

Am I reading some right? You think Slut is derogatory, but you don't mind being called a slut during sex?

I don't get that.

To me a slut is not sexy. When I think slut I think: used and abused. There’s a difference between being comfortable with your sexuality and sleeping with as many people as you want to and just sleeping with just anyone

It's my sexy avs, Hanns

BANG!!

:D

I dunno. "Slut" has historically been a derogatory term, denoting promiscuous women. Since the sexual revolution, etc., some women have tried to take back the term like the African-American community has tried to take back the term "nigger". This may soften the current meaning, but it doesn't change the word's history, or its connotation to me.

If a slut is someone who enjoys sex, then the world is a damn slutty. :)

I agree, to me slut is not a compliment. If a woman and I are arguing, and she calls me a slut, I take offense at that. I have never been called a slut by a man while in bed, and I know that I would not find that to be a turn on. Most likely I would hit you where it hurts. I guess it all goes back to the time that you were raised in. It was definitely an insult back in my time, and one that was meant to hurt. It was right up there with whore.

To me a slut is lower than a whore.

A slut is someone that not only is out for sex,but any sex. It doesnt matter where it comes from.

At least a whore is out for something be it material or not,but a slut has no real reason, other than an emotional/psychological reason to do it.

So everybody is either a slut or a whore?

Nope,I meant that a whore at least has a reason to do it.

I didnt say that everyone was either/or.
