Well McCarthy is going down

Would that that was the way politics now worked in the United States, but it obviously isn't. From the moment that Trump wasn't dumped in response to the Access Hollywood tapes, American voters no longer cared about Republicans dirty talking (and dirty doing) or lying through their teeth. McCarthy understand this and is riding it. If he goes down it won't be "because you lied." It will be from lack of support of the rotten people because he ever wavered at all.

The top-rated cable news personality reacted Tuesday to a taped conversation McCarthy, a Republican who is currently House minority leader, had with colleagues after the Capitol riot in which he expressed his desire for social media companies to ban certain members of his caucus after former President Donald Trump’s account was permanently suspended

Among those lawmakers being discussed were Reps. Matt Gaetz of Florida, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Barry Moore of Alabama, and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
